Review of Krispy Kreme

Krispy Kreme: A Classic Donut Shop with Mixed Reviews

Krispy Kreme is a well-known chain that has been serving a variety of donut flavors and shapes for many years. Located in Hoover, Alabama, this donut shop is also a coffee shop, dessert shop, and fast food restaurant. The shop is open seven days a week from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm on weekdays and until 11:00 pm on weekends.

While Krispy Kreme has been around for a long time and has many loyal customers, the reviews are mixed. Some customers have had great experiences with the shop, praising the fast service and delicious donuts. Others have had negative experiences, citing poor customer service, incorrect orders, and long wait times.

One thing that customers seem to agree on is the price of the donuts. Some have expressed shock at the cost of a box of donuts, while others have noted that the prices are reasonable for the quality of the product.

Despite the mixed reviews, Krispy Kreme remains a popular spot for donut lovers in Hoover. If you're in the mood for a classic donut and a cup of coffee, this shop is worth a visit. Just be prepared for the possibility of a long wait and check your order before leaving the shop.

I was amazed that the Krispy Creme in Hoover Alabama they gave us free donuts because we were in line by the drive though and went to the door to asked if we cam order inside we were told that they don’t have enough stuff and hand us 2 boxes of donuts for free! You guys are the best.Lord,God blessed them and to this company they are so kind. I love you all.

Took 25 minutes in the drive thru with about 8 people in front of me. Lobby was closed and they didn't have any of the seasonal doughnuts they had posted.

Arrived @5:30am because they were open. Got out the car, only to pull on the door and it was locked. Saw others going to the drive thru, which was open. Over all good experience..

They are having a tough time. They been out of items from the last three visits. The staff has been new each time. The last time, I reserved and paid for the donuts online but arrived to be told they have been out for awhile. The coffee was burnt which just made the whole trip hard. They still have the best hot donuts.

I've never been to this location if Krispy Kreme when I wasn't disappointed, and today was no different. Waited in line for the drive through for 30 minutes and was told the they didn't have the donuts I wanted. They were out. Of chocolate glazed. So I got a couple of regular glazed instead. They were stale.

I won't be back. Not to this location.

Clean place. Doughnuts were good. Only thing was it took 42 mins to get our order.
(Only 1 car in front of us. I only saw a drink and a bag handed to the man)

I have hesitated to write the following review before trying them again, again, again, and again. Foolish me!
I have driven out of my way after work, hoping that they would have my husband's favorite, chocolate iced doughnuts. They never have them when I have gone. They had the chocolate iced with sprinkles.
The last set of doughnuts purchased and I purchased a dozen; I made it home, looked at them because they seemed off, they were somewhat flat, the taste was not right, my family tasted them and my oldest son said, "THIS is sad..." He has never ever complained about Krispy Kreme doughnuts. They were so bad till we just chose to give them away and I was out of twenty something dollars.
Not only have I driven out of my way after a hard days work, but the time waiting in the line is a bit much. My cost for the purchase goes up due to the gas being utilized. Yes, I could go inside, but when I have, I found myself upset due to the lack of customer service. It is best for me to stay in my car to order.
I have taken into consideration how loved the business is, but I also know that when you are as famous, a way to deliver items and not always be out should change.
I did have an extremely kind person at the window the last time. He has a wonderful smile and a great personality. Most of the time when I have gone, the person does not deliver the type of customer service one would expect after such a long wait.
I stayed away for half a year before and now I will stay away from this particular Krispy Kreme for a good few months.
I did not desire to write such a review. I truly hope that someone will read my review and realize that I would just appreciate the following:
*Quicker service in drive-thru
*Chocolate iced doughnuts being available
*Consistent service with a smile
*More support possibly for the staff because there must be a breakdown somewhere.
*For someone to realize that for the many people who sit and wait while losing gas, they really crave Krispy Kreme so why not begin to do better. This has gone on long enough in my opinion. Over two years to be exact.
The one on Hwy 280 does not deliver too slowly from my experience. I am not driving out of my way and should not.

Literally twice I’ve been to this store and they were out of original glazed donuts?? The hot/now sign was on and we all waited in the drive thru for 15 minutes to be told that at the window. Seriously? Could you at the very least put a simple sign up that you were out of your most basic product? Also very rude at the window. Management and ownership should be ashamed.

Had an email from them to get an order of Mardi Gras doughnuts. When I arrived the inside was closed forcing me to go through the drive thru. First thing open up your dining room! I waited for over 10 minutes to be told they don't have them. I was even told in a condensing tone that the offer begins March 16. Much like I am stupid. The email clearly states that it is through that date. Mardi Gras is in full swing and has special meaning for my family. We were excited to get these but now I have to disappoint my family by not getting their special treat. Open up your dining room. Many restaurants inside are open and you should be too. If things are advertised then have them and don't treat customers with an attitude. They drive thru wait is not worth it. Open up inside!
