Review of Krispy Kreme
Krispy Kreme: A Classic Donut Shop with Mixed Reviews
Krispy Kreme is a well-known chain that has been serving a variety of donut flavors and shapes for many years. Located in Hoover, Alabama, this donut shop is also a coffee shop, dessert shop, and fast food restaurant. The shop is open seven days a week from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm on weekdays and until 11:00 pm on weekends.
While Krispy Kreme has been around for a long time and has many loyal customers, the reviews are mixed. Some customers have had great experiences with the shop, praising the fast service and delicious donuts. Others have had negative experiences, citing poor customer service, incorrect orders, and long wait times.
One thing that customers seem to agree on is the price of the donuts. Some have expressed shock at the cost of a box of donuts, while others have noted that the prices are reasonable for the quality of the product.
Despite the mixed reviews, Krispy Kreme remains a popular spot for donut lovers in Hoover. If you're in the mood for a classic donut and a cup of coffee, this shop is worth a visit. Just be prepared for the possibility of a long wait and check your order before leaving the shop.

I was in line from 3:13 to 3:51pm! I thought the drive thru was faster, I was wrong. Next ordering will be picked up inside. I pre-ordered thru the app to pick up at 3:15p, but my order was incorrect. They gave me extra chocolate covered instead of the spider crumble.

I’ve given this place too many chances but I’m done. I tried multiple times for multiple days to place an online order to pickup for my sons birthday. The app and site were not working so I thought I’d just go early and order 2 dozen glazed at the counter. Surely that is basic enough for a donut store to handle. Well, I arrive and there was nobody else in the lobby, a couple of cars in the drive through and I place my order. The worker takes my order and walks around the completely empty donut assembly belt a couple of times, and returns to tell me it will be 30 minutes before I can get 24 glazed donuts. She said they’d had a high demand this morning. So, the donut shop that has been in business for many years still cannot plan for demand. I’ll never return to this chain after this experience. The local options are a little more expensive but definitely worth it.

Donuts were good. Drive thru employee last night had an attitude when he didn't understand at first what an online pickup order implied. Store was "out of milk" for coffee drinks of any kind. Will be nice to see the staff at this location take more pride in their jobs and better management will likely help a lot--it's more fun that way I promise and your attitude won't stink to high heavens during your job performance and interface with the customers. Don't give up y'all when the tough gets going otherwise you get left behind and we all know y'all don't want that, noone does, so try to find away to enjoy your job without acting like a drama queen or a drama king with an attempt to take it out on a customer 😉

Love me some Krispy Kreme doughnuts! They always seem to be out of several varieties, but I can typically find something I like. I believe they're understaffed because it takes FOREVER to get through the drive thru as well as inside. Still decent overall.

Today, Friday August 28, 2020. (Only for today)
I went to Krispy Kreme Doughnuts to take advantage of the special purchase of getting a Dozen Doughnuts and then get a A DOZEN FRESH HOT CHOCOLATE GLAZE DOUGHNUTS FOR $5.00. 😱😱
Yesssssss! You read it right! 😊 $5.00. when you purchase a Dozen you can get a Dozen Chocolate Glaze for $5.00. ( You must ask for it)
I couldn’t believe how many people were in line at the Drive Thru in the pouring down hard rain for Doughnuts and we’re only getting one box. 🤔
I was thinking they must not know about the Special Doughnuts Offer going on. I did tell a person in line at the Drive through. Next, I was right when I asked her she stated she didn’t know.
However, I was able to bless others with giving each 1 dozen doughnuts. ( 3 dozen) I did already text a lot of my family and friends about it. But, I came home and posted it on my Facebook page and now here on GOOGLE!
It’s a shame when I see people paying more for food when they don’t have too, and then miss out on the offers for more for less or sometimes free food because they just didn’t know.
Also, even if you don’t like doughnuts 🍩. There are others at your job, your car insurance, your bank,or where ever you put your money, Church, Leasing office, Car Service Dept, family, homeless shelters, and any place where you go regularly, a little or not at all to give (Be a Blessing to others). I guarantee you that you won’t regret it! I certainly didn’t! 👍😊
Go get your Chocolate Doughnuts 🍩 and Glaze Donuts 🍩. I bought both and split half in one and the other. See my pictures! Don’t they look 👀 good! Yes! Fresh, Hot and Ummmmmh Good!
Make sure you try the Lemonade and the Lemonade Lovers Doughnuts. They are sooo good! 10 ⭐️

The quality of the donuts is consistent as it is at most Krispy Kremes, but the service at this location is consistently terrible. It is the slowest Krispy Kreme that I have ever visited. I've given it many chances, but I've decided to finally leave a negative review. This morning I went to get a dozen for co-workers before work and I walked in the store. Only one person was in front of me, I was asked for my order almost immediately. Immediately. I told the young man a dozen glazed hot (they were running on the conveyor belt at that time). He said okay. I proceeded to wait 15 minutes while no one else looked at me. He then grabbed a cold box of a dozen donuts that had been sitting there the entire time and I paid.
I do not understand the process here. I would have been willing to wait 15 minutes for hot fresh donuts, if they were busy and trying to fill other orders. But to have me stand there for 15 minutes and then grab a box that could have been handed to me immediately is ridiculous. Not to mention they were no longer hot.
I always hesitate before coming to this location, even consider driving all the way to 280 to have a better experience. Add 10 to 15 minutes to your expected experience before coming to this location. I hope it improves in the future.

Received order totally different from the one I placed at drive thru. I think they just give you whatever, then you get an unpleasant surprise when you arrive home. I'm not sure what has happened to Krispy Kreme. It used to be so good.

Always hot n fresh. This branch of Krispy Kreme is always so busy.
It is near impossible to get into the drive thru or the inside. Once you do, it is like a paradise. The smell and the view of the donuts being made on the conveyor belt. I will return many more times.

We parked and went inside the store this time. It was not really busy at the drive thru but we like going inside when we want to see what else they have besides regular glazed doughnuts. Nobody else was ahead of us getting anything just us. There was 5 employees standing right around the front counter and another employee at the drive thru taking an order. One if the employees was standing at the counter. When we walked up to the counter nobody greeted us nobody as us if they could help us no to hing. As I we just to stood there at the doughnut case and watched as everyone if them acted like we were invisible and was not there. As a matter of fact the woman looked at us turned around and walked over to the drive thru window and started helping the drive thru employee fill her order. Finally one if the ones came up and ask could he help us. He was friendly but was one who walked off when we was waiting to have our order taken. One employee from the back that had been busy over at the machine saw us standing there waiting and he came all the way from the back and stopped what he was working on to ask us if he could help us. I wish I had gotten his name because he deserves recognition for paying attention to his customers and making sure they were waited in as soon as he saw them. Anyway we finally got our order after having to tell the guy who had already taken our order what we wanted 3 different times. And I was ok with that but I was ok with standing and waiting while the employees acting like we were invisible and like we wasn't standing at that counter. What should have been a 5 minute purchase took 15 minutes to get because no one we would take our order. I guess it's more important to talk to your co workers and help another coworker fill her order then to wait on a customer who stood at the counter for 10 minutes to get there order taken. I don't understand that kind of customer service. Listen I don't know what employees don't understand about the customers coming in that store are the ones paying your paycheck. No customers no paycheck and no job. I understand customer service I myself work in a convenience store and I work with the public everyday and i would never look at a customer waiting to be checked out and turn and leave like they were not standing there. That customer is the reason I have that job. I treat my customers exactly how I want to be tested no matter what kind of day I'm having.

Go to store today at 2:00 pm and they have no original glazed doughnuts, say it will be an hour. Really? How would you ever run out of your number one selling product that you make in-house? Unbelievable.
