Cafe Rio Mexican Grill

Love these guys. I’ve never had a bad experience with the place and they’ve been my first choice when it comes to eating out in Vernal for years now. Good quality food, I can always expect the same delicious meal whenever I order my favorite - Shredded Chicken Nachos with a side of queso (as seen in the photos). Pair that with a Horchata as my drink and my day has already been made. Too good for leftovers!

Good food, poor customer service, asked for a quesadilla and they throwed the rice just on like if she was mad, I understand I went on closing time but, that attitude it's not going to make it any better

Note ... it was not the rice on top of the quesadilla it was the attitude of the lady that served my sides, The cashier was kind

Food really good. I wanted give me 5 starts in this location, because all the employees were attending very well and answered all the question about the menu. I choose quesadilla with steak.

Ordered early, set the pickup time for 5 pm, picked up order and got home, did not receive the correct order, was missing sauce for the shrimp tacos and was shorted on the ( 2 ) pork tacos instead I received a small flour tortilla with basically mush on it,I've been calling for half hr and it just hangs up, will post picture of incorrect meal, just spent a little over $100 bucks, usually my go to place but this was a set back by far ***** UPDATE****** 3/12/23, As I suspected, I have been ghosted, got a separate email from them, attached pictures and still nothing, was told give them 10 business days to reply,pretty sad in a small town the service that it served to the public, no reply from them!! Poor in store service as well as customer service online! I wont return! This town needs better restaurants, Betos is starting to look good, going to try that route and independently owned businesses do provide better to the community

Very disappointed in our food today! I ordered a salad that had the hardest tortilla I have ever had. The pork was runny and beans weren’t cooked enough. I ordered extra dressing so they didn’t give me the dressing that comes with it. It was the worst meal ever. Not sure I will be going back there soon. Also their order online was down. I sure hope it was a one time mess up but as an employee they shouldn’t have handed out this meal. I guess we should open our food before we leave instead of trusting them to do their job right!

The food is always great. The workers are rude everytime. Like they hate their job. I asked for extra sauce and the lady acted like it was a super inconvenience to her.

Incredibly poor service (mobile app pickup order). My receipt was correct, but the order had several errors. I had asked for (and the reciept confirmed) no lettuce and adding lime and salsa fresca. I had plenty of lettuce and no salsa fresca or lime. The cheese and pico were at least on the side as ordered. I also was there ahead of the promised time and my food was clearly made too early as the sauce had starting separating and looked unappealing and the food wasn't warm at all. (I only live 5 min. away and my car was plenty warm as it is summer.) Cafe Rio (in my general experience) is always not great at getting orders correct when they are busy. However, they weren't busy when I went in for my pickup. Seems they did my order early so they wouldn't be behind later during their dinner rush. Fine. But there is no excuse to get any part of it wrong at that point.

They did it right! Great customer service and my kids were happy with their hot sweet pork burritos.

They serve Mexican-style food but prepared differently than I am used to with the more traditional Mexican meals I have had in the Chicago suburbs and in Texas. I was not really impressed with their style.

It's always delicious and quick, Plus there was enough for me to have a snack after eating dinner and getting full.
