Betty's Cafe

I don't like leaving bad reviews, but the food was horrible. I ordered the steak and eggs; the steak was sliced in 3 different places making it terribly dry, the potatoes were thinly sliced with the consistency of chips, but were swimming in oil. I mean I forked some potatoes and oil dripped on to the table. The steak was of the cheapest quality; that being said the staff was nice, courteous and attentive, but the kitchen staff clearly are inexperienced or don't have the basic culinary skills.

By far, the best breakfast I’ve had in years!!! Generous portions, tremendous quality and excellent service make this the best breakfast option in the Vernal area. It’s good to know that restaurants like this still exist in America. Thank you Betty’s for going the extra mile for your customers!

Came to Utah with my mom, from Nebraska. We got to enjoy an amazing breakfast here. Megan did wonderful. Also hot Chocolate is the best.

The food was delicious! And the coffee was pretty good too! And I love that they have a couple tables outside. I just got a la carte bacon and eggs but they were cooked perfectly. My husband got some protein items and also some fruit and the fruit was fresh and flavorful. Service was awesome- the woman who helped us saw us outside and came out- we didn't have to go in to announce our presence. She was thorough and attentive. Their house-made salsa is also excellent.

The food was excellent, they were busy and we thought we would have a wait, but the Swiss Mushroom burgers came out hot and delicious. Our waitress Stephanie was attentive and very friendly. All of the waitresses worked together to make sure everyone was taken care of and no food was left on the warmer. Wish we lived there to visit more.

Stopped just before closing, was warmly welcomed by the staff. Place was very clean, decorated smartly, and service was amazing. Then there was the food... it came EXACTLY as I ordered it, I am very picky about food prep, and it was DELICIOUS. I joked about the jam being so good they should sell it, AND THEY DO. We bought a giant homemade cinnamon roll for the ride home. If it tastes as good as it smells, my sweetie won't get a bite of it. Best meal between So Cal and Dutch John, Utah was definitely Betty's Cafe.

A Mom and Pop Cafe, very simple decor and atmosphere. Chairs with bench seats along the wall. Very attentive and polite server. Food was quick, hot and as we wanted. I had a veggie omlete that was filled with veggies 😋 along with a pancake that was light and fluffy. The Only negative was that the restroom was outside entrance at the back of the building. Going out in inclement weather in the middle of a meal is very inconvenient. I'd be afraid to send my kids out there by themselves. And for those disabled. Didn't see for myself so not sure if a wheelchair or scooter can have proper access. Otherwise a great place to eat. They also open at 6 am for those who want a great breakfast before work.

Excellent food with decent prices. Super busy on Sunday mornings but they keep up great! Service is spot on. The fried potatoes are delicious. Bacon thick and yummy. Biscuits are super fresh.

I travel to Vernal Utah once to twice a month. Always have breakfast here. Service is awesome. Food is awesome. Brings back the long gone days of the local diner. Never miss an opportunity to eat here. Keep up the great service and food.

Amazing food. Great service. Cute place but small and it’s always crowded (because of how good it is). Also closes early so get there early. Great breakfast spot.
