I'll start by saying that I always try to patronize locally owned establishments, and I'll also say that I really wanted to love this place, but I am obligated to provide honesty about my experience. The place was about 75% full, which I thought was a pretty good sign! The person who took my order was low energy and in no hurry. I asked for the chicken sandwich without onions, but she said that they were pre-made (not made to order) and that I could scrape them off. I also ordered the fruit, but she said they were out.
To finish my order, I got a large coffee that I later discovered was not hot. My order was to go, so I was unable to address any issues with the manager. I attached photos of my chicken sandwich, which really had a tiny bit of chicken and was below avg in taste. For the quality of food and the cost, I would have to say that I am not a fan of this place. Side note, I went during lunch, and it took about 20 minutes to get my food. Also, another patron told a staff member that she had been waiting 25 min for a juice drink that she ordered; she was told that it takes a while to get the fresh juice. I don't think I will return anytime soon.

We happened upon this gem of a restaurant by searching the Bring Fido app. They allow dogs inside the restaurant as long as they are well behaved. They have gluten free bread that's local, for those of us with Celiac. They source what they can locally, which was an awesome find.
We split 2 different sandwiches and 2 sides. Both were phenomenal and I loved their fall slaw! The juice bar was out of commission while we were there, so I good a Chai latte instead. It was very good. An overall phenomenal experience and I would happily go back again if we were staying in the area longer.

Urban Farmhouse Cafe gets four stars. Atmosphere is great, menu is creative and expansive. My meal pictured is a combo with lentil soup and the beet salad. Value for your dollar is acceptable, not a bargain though. I wish that my meal came on a real plate that was larger. The waste of serving everything on disposables doesn't really line up with their sustainable/clean eating angle. Not sure why but their branding feels a little dated. Second visit, last time was when they were still under Linden Row!

The environment of this place is great, but the food and the service were sub par. The day we went, there was 3 employees and barely any customers. With no food orders in front of us (we were watching, so we know), it took them about 20 minutes to make a egg sandwich and an overpriced plate of bread, butter, jam and fruit…. Which was terrible. I had to ask for an update on our food after 20 minutes and it was finished a few min later. You know what makes lame, overpriced toast worse? Cold toast with rock hard butter. This place needs to get their act together; but I’m not coming back either way.

Have it a negative review because, despite lovely huge windows, and an attractive space, the coffee was watery (after I requested a double shot) and the pastries were packaged and not very good. I hesitated before ordering the pastries, which were pre-wrapped, but the server said they were "fresh." Fresh from the factory, maybe. With these prices, Urban Farmhouse should and can do a lot better than being a tourist trap.

The place looks nice and cleaned. We went in a monday afternoon around 4pm and tried to order a juice, and they said they stopped making juices for the day.. ordered a couple of coffees and waited over 15 min, even though there were only 2 costumers in the store that had their drinks already.

Gluten free and vegan items.
we had the Breakfast bacon egg cheese croissant served with some fruit. Everything delicious. Even the coffee but need a dark roast available.

We were so excited to go this highly recommended place. The visual appeal is definitely “cool”, but the $53 spent on 3 bland paninis, $6 for a cup of fruit/yogurt, and a weak chai tea was definitely let down! The woman who handed my son our food didn’t respond to his “thank you”. Less than impressed. 1 star for the cool paintings on the wall.

Badly understaffed, so the wait time can vary and sometimes orders get missed, which is understandable, because again, very badly understaffed. I'm sure as soon as this place hires enough people they'll be good to go.

Ordered a breakfast sandwich, which was served with a cold egg. Who thought it was a good idea to put cold eggs on a breakfast sandwich?
