Food was a bit lackluster and the line was long and the space, busy (Saturday morning). That said, the restaurant building was very accessible and quite clean.
I would give this place the benefit of the doubt and try it again next time I’m in town.

Solid spot for coffee in the Bottom. Not the best in RVA, but it’ll do. Tons of seating and really nice open windows lets tons of light and fresh air in.

Great coffee shop and cafe focusing on locally sourced food. Good WiFi if you need to work.

Lox and cream cheese was excellent. It took about 10-15 mins to get my food after the drink (dirty pumpkin chai latte) was up even though there were only 5 people in the cafe at the time. Certainly a place to have on the short list for a decent breakfast, though.

Was in town for my honeymoon and stopped by here for a real cup of coffee. The service was happy, polite, and attentive. My Vanilla Latte tasted pretty good, not as strong as I'm used too but still satisfied my craving. I also purchased honey and it is amazing. Definitely pick some up. Will definitely stop by again on my next visit to Richmond.

Pretty costly for what it is. The food is just okay as well. The coffee is good and the service is nice but food prep is pretty slow.

I've only visited for café goodies and coffee, but the menu includes much more. The bagels are always perfectly chewy and I definitely recommend the homemade veggie cream cheese!

Very sad (lox and cream cheese, avocado toast) for the price, especially considering there isn't table service. It's a shame because the ambience is lovely!

One of the worst chai lattes I've ever had. Tasted like a combination of watery milk and someone whispering chai from a mile down the street.

We waited an hour for 2 panini sandwiches TO GO on a Sunday morning when there were empty tables, meaning not super busy. Not sure why it took so long, maybe they had to go catch the free range chickens to wrangle some of their eggs?? Food was pricey but we expected that, just didn't expect to wait an hour for 2 uncomplicated sandwiches with a side of cut up apple.
