Sandwiches are really good, and drinks are what you would hope for. There is a high probability they get your name and/or order wrong or just forget about your order. However, the staff will be really nice about correcting it and will always do their best to give you what you ordered. I've only been there twice, but neither time have I managed to receive everything in our order exactly as we ordered it. But we've always been happy to be there.

One of my favorite places in RVA! Lots of yummy and healthy options for breakfast and lunch! Even the bottled drinks are local, unique and super healthy! Treat yourself with something fresh and healthy today then buy jam, beer or wine for home!

One of the worst breakfast experiences I ever had. First the drinks are like diluted water. The chai and the coffee were absolutely tasteless. $6 for warm water. Then for the food i ordered an avocado toast. I got 2 thin slices of bread with a tiny barely visible spread of avocado. It came with a few blueberries and 2 dry carrot sticks. Never seen such a sad breakfast in my life. She said they are running low on avocado so to compensate me gave me a tablespoon of tasteless hummus. Then argues with me how is it that I’m not thankful that they gave me such a nice side dish (a tablespoon of tasteless store bough humous, when I ordered an avocado toast !). It’s a disgrace selling an avocado toast with maybe 2 grams of avocado on it. They should have apologized and refunded me in the spot. Those sad 2 slices of bread I could have prepared at my house!! During our hour there, we saw them say to at least 2 other customers that they ran out of this and that. The other dish we ordered was chicken salad sandwich. Came on simple grocery store bread with a few blueberries and 2 dry carrot stick. The chicken salad was mediocre at best. How they market them self as urban farmhouse is mind boggling. Absolute disregard for customers.

We travel thru Richmond on our way home and had the opportunity to have a great breakfast here.
Break fast sandwiches were delicious and very generous portions. Irish oatmeal was cooked perfectly and topped with fresh fruit . Excellent coffee rounded out the meal. As good as the food was, the place is charming and the staff is friendly, fun and professional. Will go back whenever we are in town

Today was my first day going to this coffee house. The atmosphere was nice and it's a bonus that there is free two hour parking outside of this coffee shop in downtown Richmond. However the customer service was less than stellar. I bought some oatmeal that I was told would have strawberries in them. When the oatmeal came back to me with blueberries in them I mentioned that the woman who took my order told me that there would be strawberries in them. The lady who gave me my food did not offer an apology but very matter-of-factly told me that her store is not carrying strawberries. She seemed a bit annoyed by my just complaint. Mistakes happen, but I would have appreciated an apology and some attempt to make things right, such as a discount on the oatmeal, or free coffee, or just a plain old apology, a sincere desire to make it right next time, and a smile.

Cute little place with an awesome concept. Very friendly when taking your order. The service from the folks preparing the food is another story. Good luck getting the right order in a timely manner.

Pretty on the outside- terrible on the inside, lots of 1 star reviews...Unfortunately true!
Greasy food, angry service. Better to grab Starbucks down the road. Or Waffle house 2 blocks down. 🚫
***New entry to correct owners note on response. We are not mistaken on location. We were in this exact location 3 days ago, near the Omni Hotel. If there was an option, it would be a zero star except for the decor. Treating customers terribly and expensive bad food is "no bueno". Again, read the reviews.

Yummy coffee. Great atmosphere. Cool location. Friendly staff.

Great market items for sale, like local wines or treats, and a good place to stop in for a quick bite or light lunch. Lovely downtown atmosphere and interior. Slightly overpriced for the portion sizes.

Came in yesterday, ordered a black iced tea. Was fine. Came in today ordered a black iced tea. Paid $6.00 including a dollar tip. Was given some strawberry sugar water. I said, “this is the black iced tea?” Was then told they didn’t have any. And the guy didn’t even care. Didn’t ask to refund me or anything. Spent $6 on the knowledge that I won’t be coming back. Ambivalence speaks volumes.
