The absolute best corned beef hash breakfast in Tallahassee.
Hands down.

I was very excited to receive my order, but it was subpar at best. For example I ordered a buttered croissant, but when I unwrapped it, you could tell it was only toasted w/o butter on one side, and the inside looked like a plain piece of white bread. The coffee tasted like water, and the rest of the order was cold. Everything was thrown away. Very disappointing.

Great breakfast spot. Fast service, everyone is really friendly. And food is great.

If you haven't been, you are missing one of the greatest experiences in Tallahassee. Family owned and operated, wonderful service and food to die for. Thank you Uptown for being Tallahassee

I read that the food was good I must've come on the wrong day. The grits were under cooked and everything else was overcooked. After five minutes of looking at the food I paid the lady and took it to go 🗑️

Oh, what a lifesaver this was! After a stressful couple of hours, Uptown was such a pleasant diversion. The chicken salad (with peanuts! Sorry if you have an allergy) was NOT the goopy mayonnaise-y glop we often find. Yummy. Salad greens were fresh and clean. Companion had a scrumptious sandwich with fresh veggies. Mint tea a must! Enjoyed the porch with the fan running.

Super Friendly Owner and Wait Staff, Delicious food with large portions....great coffee, cozy atmosphere! Visited for breakfast on a Sunday morning, apparently the not so well kept secret of fabulous spots...great place to enjoy your meal and have conversation, some families, as well as those riding up on bikes present. Cool, friendly, neighborhood atmosphere. Ordered a bowl of the best cheese grits (!!!) topped with eggs, spinach and tomatoes...fabulous and a rather large portion of all. Definitely will make many return visits!

I ate here once and the food was delicious. However I've been back several times and they are never open. Clothes on Mondays closed after a certain time not open until a certain time. You have to hit a very narrow window to experience this place.

Loved it! Food was fresh and hot when it came to the table. A little bit of a wait, but worth it.

Owner on site, involved, takes the time to greet everyone. We went for breakfast on a Sunday morning. We had to wait about 20 mins but they had plenty of waiting seats with free coffee. They are known for their home made banana bread and utilize it for French toast. Also house made cinnamon rolls served warm. House made salsa tops many flavorful egg dishes. The staff is over the top friendly and super attentive.
