Delicious breakfast. Coffee is good and they keep heavy cream on the table something you don't see often these days. This place is cozy and a great place to get a healthy bite, plenty of options and the smoked salmon is legendary. Cookies and baked goods on the counter on the way out are very tempting and the chocolate chunk was so good. Recommend to anyone who enjoys simple good food and coffee.

I have heard about how fantastic Uptown Cafe's smoked salmon was, but I had never personally tried it yet. Today I had their Salmon Hash and it was truely everything I had heard about and more. The staff was friendly and attentive. Atmosphere was everything you would have wanted in a local place, comfy and casual. Will definitely be a repeat customer here.

We ordered salmon hush, corned beef hash and banana bread French toast today. Everything is so yummy. Only one thing I’m curious — maybe you can add some dried cranberry in the banana bread French toast, it will add more flavor.

Wonderful service! Every time I have eaten here, the serving staff has been very attentive and quick, and either the manager or owner have stopped by to greet the table. Sunday brunch is usually packed, and for good reason, but the staff takes car of you while you wait at their new beverage bar with coffee, sweets, beer, and champaign. The food is to die for. Try the blackened chicken hash browns or one of their smoked salmon dishes.

Very nice cafe, nicest owner and staff experience I had while visiting Tallahassee with friends. The food was great, as well as the coffee. The brunch mimosa list sounded really good, but I had to drive home after breakfast. I recommend sitting on the patio if enjoy well behaved dogs that are regular patrons. I loved this place.

Uptown is my favorite place for breakfast or lunch! Their specialty is their smoked salmon but I usually stick to my favorite - the blackened chicken hash with feta and sauteed onions + bell peppers. It's more than enough, I always take home leftovers. I HIGHLY recommend trying it out if you haven't yet.

This a favorite place that adds breakfast to its menu all day long. Service is great. We like to go there for our birthday club or a few friends. Bradley's Country sausage is served there which is very good. Also, grits are perfect.

I love UpTown Cafe. I've been there several times. I've always been greated by the owner. Really nice guy. The food is always very tasty, always served within mere minutes of ordering. I always sub an item or two and I've never had a mistake on my orders. The servers are very friendly, pleasant, and professional. I no longer live in Tallahassee, and I have no problem with going out of my way to grab breakfast at Uptown Cafe. If you haven't been, go, go, go. Five out of five, 10 out of 10. Two very large thumbs up.

Had the special of the day - Grit cake with loaded toppings. There were chorizo sausage, black beans, eggs, tomato, cheese, and green onion. So yummy! I also like their grits bowl. Beware though, you leave the place needing to carry your stomach.
Our server was attentive and friendly. A friend shared the grits cake with me and we also ordered banana bread french toast. Our server made sure to have the dishes split before it got to our table. Awesome! I love this place. I believe many in Tallahassee do too since they have expanded in size.

Been around a long time. Great food, great service and staff. Always puts a smile on my face. Love the breakfast here and their unique salmon. Go there and leave full and happy.
