Uptown Cafe and Catering

Overall a wonderful brunch experience! I tried the banana bread French toast, chocolate milk, and a side of hash browns. Each one was absolutely delicious! My waiter was very nice, attentive, and wanted to make sure my friend and I were satisfied with our meals and if they could make it better in any way. 5 stars!

With tip, ended up paying $42 for two very "meh" breakfast plates. French toast was okay, nothing special but there was alot of it. They forgot to put 1 of the 2 meats I ordered in my omlette. The other plate's bacon was overcooked nearly burnt, which I ended up taking. Floor was very dirty, dead bugs and thick layer of dust in the window sills. Drinks were kept filled though. Probably wouldn't eat there again.

Edit: Wanted to give them a second chance because their rating is so high. Ordered a basic combo to go- bacon was severely undercooked, had to microwave it to make it edible, hashbrowns couldn't have been on the flatiron for more than a minute or two and were basically raw potatos.Soft Scrambeled eggs were cooked hard and without any salt/pepper and were tasteless. All around, a terrivle experience that I paid 10$ and tipped $3 for. Big 👎🏽

Great location, good food, ok service. Their salmon is always awesome! Best Tuna Melt in town! Breakfast is always good too.

One of my favorite places in town for lunch/brunch! I love the unique space, and the food is always fresh and delicious.

A small place in a bustling area. They offer a great variety of breakfast and brunch type foods. The staff was super friendly, and I felt welcomed. I ordered the mancakes and it was huge! It tasted really good though, and the prices weren't too bad either. I'd definitely go back and try some more of their food!

My omelette came in a cardboard take out box so the omelette got steamed and ended up super soggy ( there was water all on the bottom of the container)
The omelette was not seasoned well at all.
My friend got the French toast and part of it was burned.
Someone else worried
I wasn’t very impressed and neither where my coworkers.
If you have basic cooking skills and have the time to make breakfast just make it yourself and don’t order from this place.

I love this little breakfast spot, you have to get here early on weekends to beat the crowd but it’s worth it even if you have to wait.

Food was very tasty. We ate on the patio with our dog and she felt very welcome there and they brought her a water bowl.

Great place. The food was delicious. We went there for our last meal in Tallahassee after my husband’s graduation. We were in a large group with two dogs and the staff accommodated us accordingly. They were friendly and everything was nice!
If you want a nice brunch with nice price this place is amazing.

I had the salmon ciabatta and it was AMAZING! Everybody from our group was satisfied

Blackened Chicken Hashbrown Bowl is a highly recommend dish. The feta is a nice touch. The blackened chicken in it was cooked perfectly.
