Wife and I went recently. Food is above average but for breakfast fare it is definitely offer priced. Breakfast burrito is a couple eggs, black beans, and a little cheese and bacon for $8.50 with no side. The veggie omelet was $10.50 with no side. Call me old fashion but if I'm paying $10 for breakfast they should throw in grits or hash browns.

Food was ok, had the salmon omelette. The home fries was amazing with the salmon

First time going to Uptown care and it was amazing. If you go for breakfast, get the banana bread French toast. It will change your life!

I wanted to give this place 5 stars but I couldn't on good conscious. They serve hot coffee in styrofoam cups. You cannot. I repeat. Cannot. Consume hot liquids out of PS5 cups. The heat leaches styrene from the cup. Styrene is a neurotoxin. You literally poison your guests with every cup of coffee you serve. Serve the coffee in either glass or paper. Everything else about this experience was great. I just hope they stop serving coffee in the styrofoam cups. I'll probably bring my own mug when I come back just in case they don't read reviews.

Good food but if your going to change your schedule please update your online presence to reflect it. Relying on customers to show up, realize that it is now closed on Mondays and update your store hours for you is not a responsible business practice.

Was in town for parents weekend and found this gem of a place and was thrilled with the quaintness of the place !! The food was delicious.... omelette’s and French toast were outstanding !! Our server was super friendly too !! Highly recommend this wonderful place, will definitely be back !!

FYI Lacto-Ovo Vegetarian Perspective: great potential as the locale with outside seating is truly special. The green vines growing and shade provide a perfect setting to start the day. Alas, like the indoor seating area, the food disappoints. Problems: The banana French toast had corn syrup for syrup and was uninspired. The vegetarian delight plus black beans omelette was more slapped together then put together. The kartoffel had too much sweet peppers and the potatoes were too wet and bland.

The friendliest staff I have ever in countered in a restaurant. The food is awesome but plan on having to get a doggie box. The Nick's grit bowl is awesome and the banana french toast is to die for. Great place all around.

Fantastic food! This cafe is clearly a popular spot but the staff manages the flood of patrons quite well. Short 15min wait for a table for two on a very busy Sunday morning. Then the food came, absolutely incredible. The Meat-atarian omlet must had had about half a pound of perfectly cooked bacon, quality sausage and ham. Fantastic amount of food for $11. Parking is a bit tight at the restaurant but there is a very large public parking lot immediately across the street next to the CVS (seems like a lot of people didn't seem to notice it).

Very busy and small space, but the staff, relaxing music and comfort food made me feel right at home. A huge thank you to the older gentleman that greeted us and was very warm and personable. He was genuinely interested in if we were comfortable and happy, and that goes such a long way in my book. Nothing but great things to say about this place.
