Uptown Cafe and Catering

Amazing food. Reminds you of a neighborhood restaurant that everyone knows you. The atmosphere is wonderful the service was great. I can't wait to come back.

I ordered their classic breakfast with scrambled eggs, choice of meat (ham), hashbrowns, and instead of toast, i opted for grits ($1 upcharge).
Eggs = greasy
Ham = about the width of a sheet of paper.....also greasy
Hashbrowns = borderline burnt and soggy
Grits = dry and tasteless.....no salt, no butter, no nothing
After an overnight shift at the hospital, i was looking forward to trying this place out....but for $11, you'd be better off going somewhere else.

Daughter loved the smoked salmon and dill sauce sandwich. I enjoyed the turkey Reuben, but I don't like any black on my bread. The fancy hash browns were fun and filling. Our server was great. You can eat side in or out. All servers wore masks and tables were distanced which I like.

Great brunch restaurant. This place is a must to eat at. It was recommended by a friend and we were not disappointed. I had build your own bowl. Highly recommend this. Staff is very friendly and helpful to explain the menu. I will be back!

I had one of the sandwiches and my wife a salad. Both were good and the portions were very generous. The waitress was attentive and prompt.

A little confused on where to go when you walk in, but food was tasty. Pancake was bigger than my plate.

Love coming to Uptown. Incredible friendly owner and employees. Excellent service. Try the salmon and/or the corned beef, both homemade and delicious. Great little spot on the corner from TMH, always popping but plenty of tables to accommodate and the outside seating is great. Parking can be cramped at peak time, but we park down the road a bit and don’t mind the walk, it’s well worth it.

Thoroughly enjoy breakfast and lunch here.

The Ruben with potato salad is excellent, it's my current go-to lunch.

I also haven't met an omelette that I didn't like here.

The tiny drink cups seem kinda silly but refills are pretty forthcoming.

I am impressed!! It is very hard to please me when it comes to American food but they have officially won me over!! The wait was not long at all, customer service was great and the food came quick!! The first bite and my mind was blown! If you want awesome brunch this is the place to be!!

Excellent little Breakfast spot. The building itself is set up a little awkwardly, but you get plenty of seating options. The staff is very attentive and very nice usually. They make a salmon hash that is one of my favorites along with the blackened chicken hash. I'd say all of their food is good, but the pancakes filled with breakfast meats sometimes come out underdone.

This place is wonderful morning treat. Don't sleep on it.
