Uptown Cafe and Catering

This is a weird one. The disjoined parking and entrances (multiple) and weird smells and filth were quite off-putting. The pancakes, however, were delicious. The staff was friendly. The food came quickly. The prices were a bit high, but not terrible. The bacon was very undercooked and the English muffin, even asking for it to be crispy and browned, came out very under toasted. The outside seating area was pretty, but the location, itself, especially with the parking lot and surrounding shops, is very unappealing. The dining room we sat in had a dehumidifier (probably to help with the mustiness. Definitely would not go back.

Phenomenal service for our party of 18! The food came out surprisingly quick for a party our size, which they accommodated incredibly well. They were super kind with us showing up close to closing time too. I ordered a make your own bowl, which was more food than I could polish off. The mancakes and French toast looked incredible! Management treated us super well - highly recommend Uptown Cafe for breakfast or brunch!!

Read reviews on this place before going and I don't know if I just chose the Worst day to go or people love bad food. Nothing and I mean Nothing was good about this place. The sweet tea tasted like green tea with ice I told the waitress to bring me coffee instead, she did but still charged me $3.50 for the gross tea. The coffee was as if had been sitting for 2 days. My hash with hash browns had ABSOLUTELY no flavor at all and looked as if the cook forgot he was cooking cause it was burned on both sides. I could keep going but to keep it plain and simple Gross.. Gross.. Gross. I do not recommend this place and even if I was asked to go back for a free meal I will absolutely NOT go again. Please tell me if that photo looks good to you, the eggs were the only thing I ate. Even Ketchup didn't help the hash.

It was a treat to walk down memory lane at this restaurant! I worked at this location about 15 years ago, and it was a delight to experience it again! Only this time, I got to bring my kids with me.

We enjoyed pancakes, bacon, ham, grits, eggs, and hashbrowns.

I love how the food quality is the same after all these years! Highly recommend this delicious family owned business 😋

So I just came in this morning and already felt bad about coming in 30 minutes before they closed at 2 pm. But they immediately seated us outside, which we so wanted, which was perfect. The server was great. Got our drinks immediately and our orders and . They were amazing. I ordered the salmon hash and a side of the corn beef hash. And the portions seemed huge. The corned beef looked like an entree so I asked the server if we had mistakenly ordered the entree and not the side. And they brought their manager out and they discounted the food for us and we're so kind. Brittany and Maddie were absolutely amazing and professional. And I'd definitely recommend coming here. And asking for them to serve you.

I was around this place and to be honest I was nervous to order. I took the risk and order the Salmon Hash. OMG, that was awesome. Red potatoes, red peppers, onion, mushrooms, eggs and salmon, I may missing something. But it was delicious. Good taste, good presentation, and the treatment was great. Clean bathroom, and quite place. Menu has a lot of options but I like to try something different every time. So if you are in town, swing by and pick something even if you think is crazy. You will not regret.

Skip the Ice tea..it’s a nasty floral.
Orders are huge… suggest sharing. $40 for 2 for breakfast.

We had breakfast and it was excellent! My Wife's a simple 2 egg, bacon, and toast but it was perfect, quick to the table and hot. I had a house made corned beef hash with eggs, onions,and peppers kind of a bowl it was incredible best I've eaten.

Breakfast or lunch Uptown Cafe is best of best ...just had Banana bread French Toast fabulous! And Tammy had the hot blackened chicken wrap she said it was delicious! THANKS Y'ALL 😊 see you next week for Apricot Smoked Salmon to take to Christmas gathering . Can't show up without Uptown Smoked Salmon
