Best Reuben in town and the potato salad is so dang good! Been eating here for decades and ever since Nick started putting his spins on the menu its done nothing but improved.

It was okay overall, the food was moderate. They give you styrofoam cups and plastic plates and are not able to accommodate if you don't want your hot coffee degrading styrene into your drink. Our server was nice enough, but there is not enough staff so she didn't have much time for us.
I'd recommend takeout, you may have a better expierence that way.

Uptown Cafe is one of my favorite local spots in Tally. I've been there countless times over the years, and everything is always fresh & delicious. The food and atmosphere feels comfy & homemade, but like, even better than homemade of course. Their gigantic pancake is amazing, the breakfast burrito is delicious, and the garlic dill cream cheese on a bagel is spectacular. Honestly, so many delicious things to choose from, I don't even know what my favorite is!

Chicken hash browns with egg. It was good but seemed like not enough eggs!

While visiting Tallahassee we tried breakfast at Uptown Cafe. I don't think it's known for its decor, but that wasn't what we came for. As in most eateries at this time they were understaffed, but our service was excellent and our food supreme. I had the banana bread French toast -- scrumptious! And my spouse had the Uptown combo which he heartily enjoyed. Yum!

The best breakfast and lunch items in Tallahassee uniquely handcrafted by this family owned business. Also fresh baked pastries to choose from. I know the omelets at Uptown are the best I have ever had. Check the online menu for take out items and also grocery items available. A must try is the delicious bacon that is perfectly prepared. Patio seating available.

This is one of my favorite places to grab breakfast when I'm in town. The salmon hash and pesto scram are excellent and they give you large portions. Wait staff has always been very friendly and provided great service.

Was told the wait time was 25 minutes. It wasn't. After we were seated, we ordered hot chocolate. That was gross because it tasted more like water than chocolate. I ordered the BD and that was lackluster, literally the only good thing about it was the Bradley's sausage. Service was subpar. We ordered extra waters and we got them right before we were finishing our meals. Overall, it was all just meh.

Uptown Cafe’s smoked salmon is just so delicious that it’s unfair that everyone can’t have access to it. It’s a Tallahassee gem. Great for parties or any time you want to make an occasion special.

Great place! Food was excellent and so is the staff! The best banana bread French toast! I came from Lakeland to visit my daughter … I highly recommend, and will be back!
