Huge shoutout to Don! He went above and beyond to help me and my friend that had a sprained foot get through the arena with a wheel and to our seats without incident. After the show he came back to pick us up even stopped off for a potty break and to buy merch from the show. HIGHLY SUSPECT, EVANESCENCE & MUSE WERE AMAZING! I was pleasantly surprised by the high level of service we received. Thanks Don!

I’ve been here for a lot of different events - basketball games, monster jam, endurocross, Disney on Ice. Pretty much the only thing I haven’t been here for is a concert. The seats on the upper bowl are almost not worth getting. You’re so far away it’s hard to really see what’s going on at a basketball game. For monster jam the upper bowl is so far away my kids didn’t really appreciate how big the monster trucks actually were and lost interest quite quickly. Almost anywhere in the lower bowl is going to be a great seat. The food is a little more expensive than you would pay elsewhere, but not a whole lot more come considering the portions you get. Parking isn’t too bad. Even in a packed night I was able to park 2 blocks away and pay $10 for parking. You can also park elsewhere and ride the tracks right to the arena. The new screens are amazing and huge. Sometimes they’re a little distracting because it’s easier to just stare at the huge screens rather than watch the actual game.

Jazz Game Tips:
There are many great ways to prepare for a Jazz Game trip. Here are ours:

Traffic: It wasn't that bad but we were a little late and made it mid 1st quarter. We used Google maps and it gave us the quickest route to City Center. If you choose the path we took and want to make it before tip off, I recommend giving yourself 30 minutes from the parking garage to the Arena.

Parking: Saturday and Sundays, City Creek parking is open 24 Hours. Our Game was on a Saturday so we parked in the City Creek Parking garage and took the Trax down to the Arena. $2.50 one way and $5 for a day pass. I think we were the only ones that paid honestly so IDK if payment was necessary🤷‍♀️ *City Creek closes at 9 so we had to use the escalators outside of the building to get down to the garage after the game. Every floor elevator has a cute card you can take to remind you what floor you were on. There is no service in the parking garage😬 You can also walk from City Center which takes about 15 minutes.

We paid $4 for parking for 3 hours which is super cheap IMO.

Bags: Not allowed. If you can, leave it in your car. Otherwise they have a Mobile stand on the right side (if you are facing the main entrance) that is free and you can check your bags in there. We stood in line for about 10 minutes after the game to retrieve mine.

Food in the venue: Expensive for my taste but a lot of options from Dippin Dots, Chik Fil-A, Costa Vida, Pizza, Churros and more.

Finding your seat: Our ticket said our Port was C. Every section entry has a big letter above it and is in alphabetical order. A,B and C are small and above a box section. There are attendants at each entry and are will show you which side your row is on.

I hope this helps at least 1 person. We did a lot of research and found a couple of tips but not many.

Overall a great experience and will be going in the future❤️

Finding parking, getting to the arena, and navigating inside of it were all very easy compared to some other arenas I have been to in the past. The seats are a bit small, but then again when aren't they?
Overall good experience, even if the Jazz gave up playing halfway through the game.

There needs to be more bathroom stalls. It’s ridiculous how few there are for any event held here. Also the NBA rules on bag size is so stupid. How can someone fit their wallet, tampons and medical needs like inhalers or epi pens for emergency. Get real! Look at the MLS for how to do a bag requirement. Hate coming here

The Jazz rocked it. Great atmosphere, sound quality and location. Parking is ok but trax is the best way to get there. It leaves you feet from the entrance. Hosts many different events not only Jazz games.

The usher, Brent, was an absolute sweetheart. The seats up in the nosebleeds we're far more comfortable than they used to be and the view was actually really good for how high up we were!
The food was ridiculously priced for lower amounts/quality, so we opted to eat elsewhere afterwards, but otherwise the place was great and so was the monster truck show!

This is a mismanaged arena. The All Star Weekend was a cluster. They do not have enough help and they fire excellent customer service minded employees who work 28 hrs in 3 days PT with zero breaks touting not enough personnel to give breaks…not even bathroom breaks and no way to eat in a 14 hr day. They do not care. Badly managed.

Was able to sit 5th row recently, the venue is so much enhanced with the remodel. The restaurants are great, the sound pour down onto the court, it was made for basketball. I’ve been to so many games and events I don’t even know but SLC is a basketball Meca.

This was an incredible experience. We saw Trans Siberian Orchestra and the show was SPECTACULAR. The venue was easy to navigate, not too crowded, parking was easy... Best venue experience I've had. Our seats were far from the stage but the view was incredible and worth every penny. I can't wait to go back.
