I was at the groundbreaking for the Vivint arena. While it's for the jazz which I don't like, it's an okay place. But I do admit the concert tonight was awesome and the person at door by the elderly man was so kind and helpful to my needs. I really appreciate it him.

Great for sports events. However horrible for concerts. As they tend to echo a lot. This year has been very good as far as traffic due to them only allowing around $5,000 people in the arena. Definitely worth it to go see a jazz game every once in awhile.

Went to disney on ice. Love the pod seating and the whole social distancing thing. Not too crowded, no one sitting next to us or behind us. Great food and drinks. Beer is 11.50 a cup tho. But lots of fun. Only thing that sucked was the mask police at intermission that tell you to put your mask on even when you're eating. Otherwise, great time.

Very small venue for Monster Jam. The trucks seemed very limited on what they could do because of the small space. Not enough ventilation with the exhaust and dirt.

We attended the Utah Jazz First home game open to public since pandemic and it was covid safe. Staff ensured mask were worn, they were constantly wiping down hand rails and other surfaces. Bathroom were extremely clean and marked for social distancing as well as seating. All transactions made electronically via phone which provided for contactless transactions. There was even an QR code provided to order meal ahead of time then you received a text once your order was ready for pick up. Great game also!

I have been going to Jazz games, concerts and other events here for years. I’ve been to many arenas around the country and can say that there aren’t many that compare with Vivint Arena. The atmosphere at Jazz games is unlike any other professional sports arena, especially during the playoffs. The recent upgrades to the arena have only enhanced the experience. This is the best NBA arena in the league.

Poetic Reviews

We will start with a "Go Jazz" as one surely must.
But we will end with a "meh" about the venue's near bust.

There are thousands and thousands of reviews to read.
So what makes ours so different and why do you need?

The answer is you don't. You already know.
But I feel like reviewing so here we all go.

Let's start with the pros. There are quite a few.
It's clean and signage help you know what to do.

The vibe here is great, I've been to many events.
It's amazingly flexible and many seat choices present.

But now we move on to where there is room to improve.
There's not the best parking if you're late or in a bad mood.

They allow very small clutches and say no to the purse.
The lonely walk back to the car can make you feel worse.

To purchase most items, you must use your phone.
When wanting one's beverage, this takes much too long.

So fun place to go, but the foods not the best.
And for all of those reasons. I give it a meh.

I have a fairly average build and I had to hunch forward the entire concert to avoid smashing into the people sitting next to me. I don’t remember the old seats being so narrow. Sacrificing comfort to cram as many people as possible into the venue.

For sporting events (Jazz!) you can’t beat the atmosphere, especially since the remodel and new food options available. Not necessarily my favorite for concerts if I actually want great acoustics, but for comedy and rock bands it’s awesome! Lots of options for parking, it’s most convenient just to pay a little extra and park closer to the venue. Just make sure to park toward the exits so you can escape faster afterward!
