La Barba Coffee - The Gateway

This is a really cool place and if you live around this area you MUST come!!! I got a regular latte to try their coffee bean and it was really good and rich in flavor. Their pastries are also delicious. I live so close to this place so I had no issue with parking. But that's the downside to coming to this coffee shop; parking is limited and this is on the 2nd level. I wish they closed late, but I understand that there's not always a lot of activity around here, specially at night. But if you're around here for the events that are done in the plaza, it's a must to stop by.

And yes they have avocado toast!

Matcha latte tasted so smooth and the avocado toast was also yummy... It also looks cool👍 Great place to spend some time when you need to sit down for a coffee.

I have tried all the coffee roasters in the Salt Lake area and this is by far the best! All the coffees they offer from different regions in the world are roasted very deliberately and consistently. I will continue to buy my beans from here.

This is one elegant coffee shop. Open, airy and inviting. The coffee roasts at La Barba are always great and they have a few toasts and pastries to nicely satisfy you. It is great to see such quality spaces offering just the right mix of quality, convenience and accessibility. I always look forward to dropping in whenever I get a chance.

It is very nice inside. I know very few coffee shops in town that goes for the minimalist modern design; it is a trendy looking coffee shop. This location also has a terrace with view to the Gateway's water fall or concerts (if they got any) and there is outer sitting too. I guess it could be good for dates too.

I saw a lot of people coming here to study, chat with their friends or just to get a warm drink.

I like Chai Tea Latte here; it is not too sweet :)

Great coffee, very smooth! I like the ambiance too. They still allow sitting indoors during covid, too, though the seating is spaced out more. Very friendly baristas. Top 3 fav coffee shops downtown :)

The barista here today was so amazing. I wasn't sure if what to get and he ended up making the perfect drink. The music is calm and overall the best place to sit and enjoy a nice cup of coffee.

Batch coffee was decent, but my girlfriend loved the iced mocha. I imagine the hot coffee might be a bit better if you get a fresh pour over, but that’s up to you if you want to pay for extra charge.

Interior is really bright and sunny and pleasant to be in. While you can’t sit inside, there is plenty of outdoor seating. The place was very quiet around 11am.

Our barista was also really nice!
