What a great spot. Casual and comforting.
We were told that it would be about a 45-50 minute wait for breakfast on a busy Sunday morning but to our surprise, we were seated much quicker than that!
While waiting outside on a table, the kitchen windows were open and the sound of dishes being washed and food prepared crept out into the air. It was all very nostalgic.
Bloody Mary was delicious.
I had the Santa Fe Omelet, hubby had biscuits & gravy — both were really, REALLY good.
Friendly service, fast kitchen, reasonable prices.
We’ll be back! This place is comfort food done right.

Went for brunch. They let us sit at the bar where orders are assembled from the kitchen. Absolutely fun to watch if you don't mind seeing the work put in to get your order ready. The experience is not a high society affair, and I wouldn't have it any other way. Also the food was delicious. Service was also very timely. Will definitely swing by next time we are in town.

I ordered the omelet and it was very yummy. The biscuit was very big and fresh. My son got the kids scrambled eggs and it was plenty of food for him. His sausage was very good. We were a party of 7 but didn't have to wait very long to get seated (15 minutes). Parking is somewhat difficult.

It was very good. The brunch menu is very limited and underwhelming, but what they do offer is delicious! The potatoes are addicting, the turkey club was out of this world, and the pancakes were perfectly made. Our server was so busy, but still managed to take excellent care of us. Be prepared to wait for a table, but it's well worth the time!

I was in Fredericksburg for a girls weekend to celebrate my birthday. There were several groups waiting to be seated. Our 30 minute wait was made easier after we got some morning cocktails. The food was worth the wait. Great presentation and yummy breakfast. Our waiter was attentive and fun.

First time visiting this place and I will say that I was pleasantly surprised. The place was pretty close to packed when I got there but the wife and I were able to get a seat. The waitress came right over and got our drink, brought those right back and took our food order. For as busy as they were the food was out promptly and was delicious. It was the best service and food I have had at a restaurant in a long time. I would definitely recommend and will be returning when I go back to Fredericksburg.

What a great little place in the Texas Hill Country. They serve breakfast until 2pm and have some awesome lunch options. My wife had the seafood Caesar salad, which I got to finish because it was too much for her to eat! I had an amazing omelet with Hatch green chiles and country potatoes. I would highly recommend.

Consistently cozy breakfast spot with the best simple breakfast options, omlettes, etc. Service is great and personable.

We arrived to a short wait, the host took our phone number and offered to call when a table became available, leaving us to wonder some of the nice shops nearby. I thought this was great than leaving us queued outside.
After the call and arriving at the table, the server was extremely polite, our order was taken right away and the whole experience was outstanding.
I ordered the Scrabble which was eggs, cheese, bacon and potatoes mixed and served as a dish with a side of very nice salsa. A cup of fresh fruit also came with the dish.
I ordered ala carte one of their walnut banana pancakes that I can't recommend enough. Absolutely delicious! Tip: try it before pouring the syrup, I didn't need it as the cake was already covered in a sweet glaze.
My wife ordered the biscuits and gravy with a side of grits and was also very pleased with her dish.

Nice to find this spot on our first time in town, will definitely be a regular trip when we return.
