Everything I saw come out of the kitchen was top notch! Great dining atmosphere with a cozy patio. I'll def be back!

The place is very unassuming on the outside but it hides some of the best breakfast foods I've ever had. There was a bit of a wait, but that's pretty standard for restaurants in Fredricksburg. The menu is smaller than I expected, but the items that my wife and I had illustrated that they are masters of what they do have.

Don't be fooled be the menu! Looks like an interesting breakfast place. HA! my bacon was horribly burnt.... not just a little over crisp but like charcoal. Potatoes must have been cooked at opening and microwaved but never seasoned. Eggs yolks were pale yellow and not cooked to order.
The prices were set where you would expect every detail to have received attention but not when I stopped in. Breakfast is not a hard meal to cook. Very dissatisfied.

Ordered the Bennie Sammi and it was scrumptious! Never would I have thought that smoked salmon and eggs Benedict would go so well together. Everything was just so well done and tasty, right down to the orange juice. The waitress was very well-mannered and attentive to us since we got there.

Great prices huge portions. Food tasted good. If any, flaws could be fixed with some cholula or a bit of salt could not fix. The fried fish was good just a little bland. Loved the flavored unsweetened tea. The Mediterranean pasta with chicken was sooooooooooooo good. Breakfast was great.

Would normally mark down service simply based on the wait, but daggum do they even get that right. Open bar seats can become first come first served. Place is amazing. Food, the surroundings, it's just a great place like you should see on traveling food network shows.

I’m a local here and have eaten here before but this was a horrible experience food wise our waitress was super nice and attentive. The food though was not so good.
I ordered the caramelized banana French toast and the french toast had no flavor whatsoever, the bananas on top were just mushed up and poured warm no caramelization to them at all.
Sent them back thinking it was just the bananas making them not taste well. I was wrong even just regular French toast was disgusting. My friend got biscuits and gravy she didn’t even eat the gravy after the first taste of it. Potatoes weren’t seasoned either :/ Biscuits were hard also.

My husband and I stopped by for lunch last week after touring the Willow City Loop to check out the wildflowers. Discovered this great spot off Main Street and were wowed by the quick, friendly service and delicious food. My husband had the burger and onion rings and I had the grilled shrimp tacos. Ample portions and tasty, fresh , hot food at a fair price. We were offered refills of our unsweetened ice tea and root beer without asking. The restaurant has a quaint, cozy vibe with clean, well-stocked bathrooms. We arrived at peak lunch time, shortly after 1, so the place was packed and there was no parking out front so had to search for a spot up the street but a little exercise never hurts! Highly recommend and would definitely return.

The food was good, that's why it isn't getting one star. However, the service was not good. We sat and sat and waited for a really long time to be served. When she did arrive, you could tell our waitress didn't want to be there. Once we finally placed our order, the food came out fast and it was good food. But it was cramped and very loud, even at 10am in the morning.

My wife and I spent the day in Fredericksburg last weekend. The place has a 4.5 star rating so we wanted to try it out. We ate here for brunch and were very disappointed. We both ordered the Caramelized Banana French Toast. I wish I had taken a picture. It was basically 3 pieces of bread with 3 full bananas sliced up and slightly warmed on top. The "french toast" was not toasted or crispy and had no flavor. No cinnamon or vanilla or anything. You could barely see the bread through the tons of bananas. The bananas were not caramelized. They looked and tasted like they had been put over heat for 1 minute. They were just mush. Not somewhere we would go back to eat.
