Sunrise Cafe
Review of Sunrise Cafe
Sunrise Cafe is a local restaurant and cafe located at 194 US-101 in Rockaway Beach, Oregon. With a primary focus on serving breakfast and brunch, this establishment offers a simple menu without too much excitement. The cafe is open from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM every day of the week, making it a convenient spot for early risers and brunch enthusiasts.
Customers have mixed reviews about the food at Sunrise Cafe. Some rave about the delicious dishes and great service they received, while others have had less favorable experiences. The menu features classic breakfast items such as bacon, eggs, hash browns, and pancakes. The bacon is particularly praised for its exceptional taste, and the hubcap-sized pancakes are a hit among pancake enthusiasts. However, some customers have found the food to be mediocre, with undercooked eggs, soggy hash browns, and average-tasting burgers.
Aside from the food, the service at Sunrise Cafe has been a point of discussion among patrons. While some have had positive interactions with friendly and attentive staff, others have encountered issues such as dirty tables, missing silverware, and forgotten toast. It's worth noting that the cleanliness of the establishment has also been a concern for some customers.
Despite the mixed reviews, Sunrise Cafe continues to attract customers with its affordable prices and generous portions. The cafe has a casual and laid-back atmosphere, although some visitors have described it as lacking in ambiance. If you're in the mood for a no-frills breakfast or brunch, Sunrise Cafe might be worth a visit.

Thought I would try lunch for the first time since opening. Waitress was nice, food was not good. Orderd a burger and fries. Burger was crunchier than the limp fries. I hope they up grade the quility.

Really good food. Service was excellent. The place is nice enough, though I wasn't a huge fan of the decor (seemed tacky). If you are choosing between this place and the Bite next door, pick this one.

Perfect experience. Great food, great service and willing to service a family of 20 at closing time. Amazing owner and priced so reasonable

Heavy duty (and good) burgers, fish and chips special was excellent. Menu was no-frills, but quite tasty.

The waitress was fine and attentive. The omelette was a disappointment. Was called a "Western Omelette" but seemed more a ham and cheese Omelette--and thin on those ingredients too.
Left feeling disappoint.

We love this place and when family come down it is the only place they want to go to have breakfast. They were really busy today cuz it was Memorial Day (and some people don't have the patience to wait) but they still serve the best food. Just take the time to enjoy the people you are with and the wait seems shorter. It is worth the wait!!!

Stop by for lunch. Service was slow, considering we order a burger, fish & chips & a Ruben. Took 45 minutes to get our food. We were given no napkins or silverware and food was not all that good.

I would rate it higher but over the last month the quality seems to have gone down a bit. I go almost every week and order pretty much the same so was surprised when I have been going for over 5 years.

The service was poor the eggs were cold they charged me for an orange juice (which I did order) that was never brought the toast came out 10 min after the food and was cold. This was over all just a bad place to eat breakfast.
