If you need quality coffee, breakfast sandwiches and or bakery sweets THIS IS YOUR SPOT. Also, everyone working is very friendly and speedy fast. Sit up on the lofted area for great views to the water.

Came in the evening and had a flatbread. It was really tasty. The ingredients were fresh and top notch. I know they have a pretty stellar coffee program, too. Highly recommended.

What a hidden gem. Biscuit sandwich was amazing. Coffee was really good. Weird they don't open til 8am, when I went there was a line of 5 people waiting to get in. Would love a pour over coffee option. Just steps away from the beach.

Had a sausage breakfast sandwich which was amazing. These are easy to mess up, but everything about it was good. I also got a dark mocha and it was amazing. They do art on your drink as well. I loved the interior of the shop and there is spot upstairs where you get a small view of the ocean.

We were lucky enough to stumble upon their soft launch! Rockaway Roastery seems to be run by a really quality team. They've sourced amazing pastries (scones look amazing apple fritters were yum!) and coffee (classic Stumptown at its best). Prices were super reasonable if not a bargain for the coast. One of the owners is a coffee expert who has great plans to grow the coffee line and offerings. Wine bar section is open after 11am and pickups up in the afternoons. (Flatbreads, gourmet pizza and biscuit sandwiches coming soon.) While some say it's hard to open a business in the fall/winter on the coast, I think Rockaway Roasters is going to be a community fixture for years to come. Great job and great experience! We will be back again!

I think they’re still working out of kinks as they just opened.

None of the baked goods are made in house. Plus having the name roastery in their title would make you think that they roast their own coffee beans. They do not.

My latte was overly sweet, but the enjoy the cafe space the best. I like the idea of having a big deck where you can linger.

I guess the food & drinks need a little work…

First time, WILL NOT be the last. Beautiful space and stellar coffee and baked goods! The service was excellent. Happy to have a new place to go in the area. Coffee is LIFE! This place has such a great variety of things ☕️🍩🍷🍺!

I've sampled the coffee, pastry and flatbread! The coffee is strong and their pastries are fresh. I'm an odd ball I do like mine cold and blended so hopefully soon blended will be an option. I've had a cinnamon roll and a maple bar both were yummy. My Chihuahua and I shared a flatbread I'm not sure of the name but it had pesto, prosciutto and Havarti it was amazing! They're open late and also serve cocktails. They've just recently opened and I can't wait to watch them grow.

My daughter said that the Rockaway Roaster was exactly the kind of place she wanted to own when she grows up. My entire family loved their food. The entire modeling of the place made you feel like you could get cozy, like at home. They served the food on paper plates, and I thought it was adorable. If I ever come back to Rockaway beach, I will definitely come here again!!

I didn't try any of their drinks, but I love that they use as local of products as are available. I learned about a local syrup manufacturer here. Nice atmosphere, friendly service, a good variety of options including boba tea. They have a fantastically unusual vending machine near the bathrooms/back door!
