Review of Sunrise Cafe

Sunrise Cafe is a local restaurant and cafe located at 194 US-101 in Rockaway Beach, Oregon. With a primary focus on serving breakfast and brunch, this establishment offers a simple menu without too much excitement. The cafe is open from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM every day of the week, making it a convenient spot for early risers and brunch enthusiasts.

Customers have mixed reviews about the food at Sunrise Cafe. Some rave about the delicious dishes and great service they received, while others have had less favorable experiences. The menu features classic breakfast items such as bacon, eggs, hash browns, and pancakes. The bacon is particularly praised for its exceptional taste, and the hubcap-sized pancakes are a hit among pancake enthusiasts. However, some customers have found the food to be mediocre, with undercooked eggs, soggy hash browns, and average-tasting burgers.

Aside from the food, the service at Sunrise Cafe has been a point of discussion among patrons. While some have had positive interactions with friendly and attentive staff, others have encountered issues such as dirty tables, missing silverware, and forgotten toast. It's worth noting that the cleanliness of the establishment has also been a concern for some customers.

Despite the mixed reviews, Sunrise Cafe continues to attract customers with its affordable prices and generous portions. The cafe has a casual and laid-back atmosphere, although some visitors have described it as lacking in ambiance. If you're in the mood for a no-frills breakfast or brunch, Sunrise Cafe might be worth a visit.

The super sweet gentleman refilling out coffee and water has the kindest warmest welcome. The waitress was so friendly and accommodating. The service was well worth the visit.

Every single time I have called for local delivery I was told no each time. I tried three times! The owner likes to argue on Facebook. But I'll post my own experiences here without any feedback or arguments. The it's never our fault attitude is not an attitude to have while conducting business. Shame

Wanted to like this place. The service is mediocre at best. They forgot something on every dish we ordered. I really wish them luck & can improve all around. We will try again in a couple months.

Awesome food! Great service ! Small town feeling and good folks to share it with. Best to check out the FB page or call just to make sure they are open during the off season though. We love it !

The food was decent. But my post–Fourth of July visit was poorly timed. They didn't seem to have extra people on hand to handle the rush, so service was slow. I had to go to the front counter to get one of my coffee and water refills after waiting a while.

Has on a day drive to get out of the house for a few hour, and saw the cafe and decided to stop and have some lunch. The place was not too busy but most the tables had customers in them. The waiters was a polity lay and friendly person. After taking the food order my mom and than seat and waited for the foods for almost 45 minutes. I've the food got to the table, the burger had over cooked and did not have any seasoning on it.
