I’m not even a dessert/pastry type of girl. But the beignets got me. They were served hot and I had with a side of hot chocolate. The serving size is enough to share but my friends and I each got our own (no regrets!)

A busy little satellite of the main Café Du Monde in french quarter. This location is super easy to get to from the convention center and has the same great beignets covered in powdered sugar as well as hot and cold coffee. This location also takes cards, the main location is only cash for dine-in. The beignets are hot and fluffy and taste great. Seating area can get crowded and unfortunately there aren't many seat or places to eat on the actual Riverwalk outside.

The beignets taste like funnel cake. If you like carnival food don’t come. The frozen mocha taste pretty good. But not worth the line.

Kinda over-hyped. It's classic. It's good. "But it's not as good as it used to be" [local talent opinion]. Cafe Beignet is a bit better, has gluten free, & the service is more friendly.

They only take cash, but there is an atm across the street. Have you even had beignets if you have not had one from here. I am here on assignment, and I set out to try beignets every place I went so I would know if theirs are the best. Thus far I still prefer Du Monde over anyone else. Get there early, the line gets long fast.

I enjoy beignets and Cafe Du Monde doesn't disappoint. An order consists of 3 beignets golden brown covered with tons of powdered sugar...sweet!!! Coffee completes the order...that's all you need!

These were yummy, fresh, hot and so tasty! You get 3 large beginners in one bag for less than $4. We ordered 2 bags and got coffee and OJ everything was great! So much powder sugar!

First time eating the beignets. They are said to be the French donuts, but taste different from donuts other than both are fried. Very tasty, not as sweet as some people complain and you can reduce the level by shaking off some of the sugar power.
