The have a great concept, but it’s poorly executed. We walked in off the street and looked at the menu. First thing I noticed is that there were no paper menus where I could see, and the menus on the tv screens kept changing before I could read them. All the staff were very courteous and kind but it couldn’t make up for the I’ll conceived flow of the restaurant. I placed my order and they took my name. But they didn't call my name for the coffees or the pastry I ordered. I had to go up to the counter three separate times to get my coffee, my wife’s coffee, and our pastry. Our hot food came from a kitchen down the hall so it took about ten minutes longer than expected. The burrito had two or three potatoes in the whole thing and wasn’t very flavorful over all. The coffee was very bitter, like it had been over roasted to make it taste like something. The website makes this place look really fun and it’s a cute idea, but the best thing we had was a pastry they buy from another bakery and charge you an extra $3 for it. Skip it, and go to that bakery instead.

Got a caramel Macchiato w oatmilk and shroom boom pastry.
Pastry was good. Didn't love the flavor of their oatmilk.

Overpriced and mediocre coffee, $6 for 12oz, and $8 for 16oz. Some of the staff members are pretty rude and don't seem to like working there. 2 stars only for having charging stations for laptops on tables.

The coffee and food were absolutely delicious. I was working there up until close and the employee (Jordan) topped me off and was extremely kind and attentive. Gospel is great place to post up and get your coffee fix.

I got the vegan wrap and my boyfriend got the chorizo burrito, both had zero flavor and the way they prepare them is very lazy! The price is also way too expensive even for downtown New Orleans. Also the way the menu is set up on the tv screens is very hard to read because it flashes way to fast.
I would not recommend unless you are really really hungry.

The barista is always amazing and fast, it’s just him by the time I go and even if there’s a couple people the wait is never long. The coffee and food is top tier I’d highly recommend if you enjoy good coffee and a bite

Walked with in to take a break from the heat. Ended up getting drunk. The drinks are bit pricey but delicious. Try their ginger and tequila

They don’t serve breakfast 🍳 it’s more a barista place. I bought the parfait, but the yogurt tasted like cream cheese.
I didn’t get coffee, so I can’t say anything about it.
Clean environment.

Definite aggro vibes here. Literally the conversation at the bar was a woman telling the other worker, "you have a mean STREAK, but you're not a mean PERSON..." That barrista had serious anger management issues, went around doing things like loudly pushing in the other chairs at my table, taking the little plant on my table, then realized he was being a jerk on purpose and took ALL the plants on all the tables (???), basically he desperately wanted a reason to get into a fight with someone. Not sure why this place is called 'Gospel', unless the person they're worshipping is the other guy. Also, this is connected to a hotel, so the valets are constantly SLAMMING the doors. There is not a single moment's peace in this place. Why is everyone so angry? Extremely overpriced coffee for the bad juju, will not be back. Suggest these people learn deep breathing methods and perhaps renounce satan.

Small cafe with your usual coffee, juices and stuff. They also got some pastries too including croissants and muffins.
Very neat. Coffee was good.
