Fuel at Five Points

I was at Fuel at Five points today. I have been going there for the past 3 Sundays to work. Today is the last day I will ever go there. Really bad service! I ordered a food, the owner/worker, I’m not sure who they were, brings a food and asks me if this is what i ordered. I said yes and started eating it. (I actually finished it). The thing is I ate the wrong order by mistake because I was absent minded at that instant in time. Instead telling me this nicely, they were really rude to me. They told me something along the lines “We expect customers to pay attention for what they have ordered!”, of course there tonality was really disrespectful, and they also said some other stuff which I don’t remember, and I’m not going to make things up just for the sake of it, but again in a dreadful tone. Maybe if I looked more “American” I wouldn’t have received this kind of backlash. In the end I apologized to the customer to which the food that I ate belonged to (They were really understanding, thank you). I payed for it and I left. (I never received my original order as well. Even if I did, I would have rejected it).

Again, I don’t know if this was the owner or a person who works there, but you need to learn how to speak with customers.

A quint coffee shop not too far from downtown! The staff was friendly and the atmosphere is rustic and a quality coffee shop! Parking is a bit different (no lot, street) and didn't seem too busy. Go check them out!

Really great coffee shop! My family and I were passing through and looking for a place to grab breakfast, and we were so glad to see that Lafayette had a place this nice. Good food, good coffee, reasonable prices, and a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Had a panini with there signature Miel latte 👍🏽 highly recommend if you are looking for a cozy place to relax

Absolutely love Fuel! The back room at Five Points has plenty of outlets and is a perfect place to get some work done with some top-notch coffee.

I have been a regular at this place for many years and through several location changes.
I have always received excellent service, fantastic, coffee, and great food.
The atmosphere is cozy and warm also.

This is a great local coffee shop. Good coffee. Good selection of foods. Gluten-free or diet specific is a little limited, but they're improving that menu selection.

I’ve been going to Fuel for years and have always had exceptional service. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and clean. The staff has always been professional. There’s a consistency to the food and drinks which is important to me. The zucchini bread and the peppermint bark are a couple of my favorites. I love that Fuel is locally owned and operated. The owner Colleen is an extremely caring and hard working business owner who always takes the time to chat with me for a minute even when she’s busy. Love Fuel! ❤️

It’s wonderful to find a good coffee shop in Lafayette. It’s a nice, eclectic environment with a fun list of drinks to try.

The Dirty Ivan and the White ghoulia were the first we tried.

The dirty Ivan was sweet, and definitely is a perfect mix of espresso, steamed milk, and sugar.

The white ghoulia was a fantastic drink that felt like a white chocolate meets a recesses peanut butter cup. Or pancakes at a small town diner with butter and syrup.
I suggest trying it and examining what each palette gets for the flavors

The food was delicious! I ordered blueberry pancakes, and it came with egg and fruit. And the coffee was fresh, made to order, and they have creative concoctions. They have wifi and a place for kids to play. Great little place to come work and drink coffee on a lazy day. I will be back many more times I am sure.
