Star City Coffee

Been coming here since around the time it opened. The espresso blend here is still my favourite in Lafayette for a regular cortado. Good vibes, great space, and friendly baristas. I'm not sure what else people want in a coffee shoppe.

Not sure what is going on with the idiots who think this place is expensive, but you can't please everybody.

This place has exceptional coffees, many excellent choices, and tastes amazing. If you want something comparable to Starbucks, this place blows them out of the water. I was in and out quickly with a smile as well so amazing convenience and hospitality.

This is usually my favorite place to go downtown. The outdoor seating is nice, especially for getting some work done outside on a nice day. My favorite thing about this cafe is the seasonal rotating drinks they do. I love trying new and different things and am rarely disappointed. I usually grab my drink to go since there’s limited seating inside, but it’s perfect for a walk downtown or across the bridge. Staff is always super nice as well!

Nice place, coffee was decent. Got 4 stars from me as the coffee took a while to make and it came in a takeout cup though I was drinking it in the café. Otherwise it was good and I'd recommend it. Had a good vibe.

I visited with a few friends last month during the holidays. It was hard to find a coffee shop open on campus so we ventured across the river and I was so surprised how great their chai latte was. A tad bit heavy on the cinnamon, but now I know for the future and can order accordingly. The vanilla latte was also out of this world. Highly recommend trying this place if you haven't, you'll definitely be happy you do!

I had stopped by for coffee years ago when Star City first opened. I decided I needed to come back and actually write a review. The interior has changed a little since I last stopped by. I ordered a French pressed coffee and blueberry muffin. Both were prepared quickly. The coffee was quite good. Strong but not overwhelming or bitter. The muffin wasn't straight-out-of-the-oven fresh, but was still very good. Didn't seem like anything had been sitting around in a decanter or on display for weeks. Overall a very good visit for coffee and a small breakfast. I'll have to stop by at a later date and review the "Ale" side of the house.

My favorite coffee shop in Lafayette so far. I would go with either a regular coffee or espresso drink. Their coconut oolong tea is amazing. I love their keto cheesecakes, they taste great. I’ve also had a pumpkin muffin that was pretty good.
