All I got was the coffee, but compared to actually coffee shops in the area it was solid.

For what it’s worth, the cafe smelled really nice & the staff was very friendly. We didn’t try any of their pastries though

Go early to get the most variety! Cute bakery with tasty products! This time we were late and had very little to choose from. Everything was quite delicious although it wasn't what I usually choose.
You can sit inside, outside, or take it elsewhere...

Quite disappointing actually given the great reviews & recommendations. Lemon meringue tart had too much meringue & the tart base was too crumbly. Cheese bread was mediocre too. Mini baguette with salami was quite gd thankfully

Everything nice and clean. The barista is extremely rude. She shouldn’t work in customer service. Won’t probably return.

A quick stop here for coffee and almond croissants here at the Barnyard. Parking was good. Croissants were the best. The bakery is located in the northeast quadrant of the shopping center near the Tricolore flagpole.

Almond chocolate croissant is da bomb. Nuff said. West side represent. Shoutout to all my homies. Apricot tart was also not bad. But almond chocolate croissant is where it’s at. That’s the real g.

Amazing small bakery with great selection of pastries and drinks. There is quiet outdoor seating and WiFi. Perfect place to study or chill.

Cute little bakery. Highly recommend this place. Cakes are beautiful, not sweet like most of bakeries, quiches we had had just right amount of saltiness. Nice deck for eating. We will be back again soon!

ATTENTION.
If you love to see bad attitude or you like to feel not welcomed, then this place is for you.

All the local guide reviews are just marketing , generally I was going there everytime we stayed at Carmel , fortunately it's like 6 times this year. I always was giving chance to this bakery ,however no more. Every time we visit ,it was getting worse and worse, different cashier with different attitude. From owner to the regular employee.

Based in consistent bad service , I will go somewhere else ,there are plenty french bakeries around the block with better quality pastry.

Just google and you'll see.
