Hands down the best brunch I’ve ever had. This restaurant was featured on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives with Guy Fieri a few years back and I can totally see why. Their menu is both original and reliable, with great options for both healthy and grungy breakfast desires. I highly recommend getting their famous pancakes with real maple syrup, as well as a hash or an omelet. All food items were in sizable portions and they tasted incredible. There’s plenty of seating (both indoor and outdoor) but make sure you get there a little early depending on what time you want to eat, because there can be a sizable wait. Regardless, the wait is definitely worth it.

Really fast and good service! Didn't take long to be seated and served on a Friday afternoon.

The food was delicious, would really recommend the brisket chili and breakfast burrito. The biscuits were a little hard for my tastes but the gravy was excellent! Potatoes were also well seasoned.

Food is great and service is good too! We arrived on Saturday morning at 10 am and was seated within 10 mins. We ordered a skillet, triple d sampler and mocha latte. I highly recommend the triple d sampler! Delicious and great value with biscuit, patties, gravy, two eggs, chili and side of fruit. The gravy with biscuit and patties were awesome! The chili with brisket was so yummy.

I appreciate the attentive and friendly service.

I will come back to try the pancakes!

This place is an absolute gem located in the Carmel Barnyard. The food is spectacular and they serve both breakfast and lunch at all times. Be sure to try the cinnamon roll pancake. It is heaven on earth. My daughter and I just had to share one and we couldn’t even finish it together. The place gets busy and it isn’t cheap but if you want some solid consistently delicious breakfast in a great place, keep this place in mind. It has never disappointed.

Great breakfast food. We had the "Carmel Omelette", which was extremely tasty - one of the best omelettes I ever had - and the "Veggie Eggs Benedict", that was equally great. For dessert we got a (custom) strawberry pancake. Everything was very good, including the great service, which isn't all that normal since the pandemic. The wait was on the longer side, but worth it.

Good food! Portions are big! A little pricey.

We ate outside, and they had heaters next to the tables, but it was still pretty cold. But we opted for that, since the wait was going to be about 20 minutes for inside. It looked pretty small inside, but inside and outside was full, so it looked like a popular restaurant!

All the ordering is done via scanning the QR code that is on the paper, that is on the table. My husband wasn't a fan of that, but I didn't mind so much, because I don't like touching dirty germ-covered menus.

The waitress seemed a little stressed out, but still friendly. She had to take the orders on a tablet, and it seemed to be giving her trouble.

My red potatoes were seasoned with yummy flavors, with my "create your own" omelette. I eat gluten-free, and the waitress provided corn tortillas with my meal, instead of bread. (They do not have any gluten-free bread products.)

My husband really liked his biscuits and gravy, and the brisket chili. (The waitress told me that it was not gluten-free, so I did not have any.) They we're out of grits, so my husband wasn't able to order them. He opted for fruit, in lieu of the grits.

A side of bacon was seven or eight bucks! But at least it was four big slices of bacon.

My husband's coffee was not very hot, and the second serving made his coffee cold. When I brought it up to the waitress, she apologized, and poured it out on the plants; and a different person brought out a fresh serving, but then it was near-boiling hot.

The patio seating was well-heated. The service was friendly and attentive. The meals were generously sized and delicious. I have never had corned beef hash this tasty ever. The meat was so tender and the over-easy eggs were so well executed. The biscuit was layered and soft. Everyone around us bagged leftovers for a second meal.

Absolutely delicious! Best breakfast we have had on our trip so far! I ordered the extreme biscuit breakfast and it was awesome. My wife ordered the corned beef hash and it did not disappoint big chunks of beef that were very tasty. My oldest son got cinnamon french toast and he was in heaven, my youngest got a pancake and fruit it was pretty good. All in all great place great service!

We ate there last weekend. Service was fine.
The food was good. The huevos rancheros seemed more like some type of nachos. Definitely doesn't compare to my husband's top 10.
The skillet was good.
The sandwich was good, the meat was excellent. But the bread didn't taste fresh, and my sister's biscuit was dry. I make homemade biscuits, bread, and sourdough at home. I know fresh, this didn't taste like it was made from scratch the same day. Maybe I had too high of expectations.
The food was good, but could be improved. There is nothing like homemade bread, this didn't taste like that. 😕
Still it is good food. And we even saw a small snake crawling on the patio to add to the interest. I stood guard so nobody stepped on it until it made its way safely to another destination.

Stop at this place for breakfast or brunch in a cozy setting. This place is conveniently located near Monterey and could be an ideal stop if you are on a roadtrip on the CA1. Lot of options on the menu with something for everyone.
Would definitely recommend the place. There could be some wait time on weekends and holidays.
