Delicious brunch at From Scratch! We had the huevos rancheros nachos, a from scratch skillet (with peppers, onion, and ham), and a side of biscuits and gravy. Don't miss the biscuits and gravy!

Speedy service for Friday brunch, friendly staff, food was pretty good, coffee was just oK. I mainly enjoyed the small-town patio feel, very nice for relaxing and forgetting your worries. Portion was a tad small for me but probably ok for most people.

This amazing restaurant is a little hard to find with GPS. Mine said “You are here” and shut off and we were not even close to the parking area yet, LOL. It’s located on the lower level of the Barnyard Shopping Center so you can use mall parking and look for the signs. Worth the walk for sure. There was no wait, thankfully.

Their sausage biscuits and gravy is amazing. The wait was way too long so we opted to take out and eat inside our car. The staff here are amazing and will definitely be back soon

From Scratch is a popular restaurant, both with locals and tourists who can find it. It is tucked a little away in one of several centers.
The menu is divided between breakfast options and lunch. There is a section for soups and salads as well as starters. Among the more popular choices are the omelettes (large selection or you can build your own), pancakes and for lunch, their burgers. Both as a side order and as a meal itself, their brisket chili is good (just a hint of spice). Pricing is moderate and service is fine.

This place came with rave reviews and we had to wait about 45 minutes to be seated. This was during the Covid-19 situation. Our food was good but nothing earth shattering so I am unsure what the fuss is about. We had breakfast, walnut and banana pancake and I had a swiss and bacon omelette. The wait was a bit excessive once we were seated as well but they were busy hence the wait. Also, please don't bring two giant pancakes and two tiny pats of butter and a tiny bit of sytrup. I realize we can ask for more but get real. Good and worth a visit but nothing new or exciting flavor wise. Just your standard breakfast. The hostess was very friendly, and I think doing a great job and great service to the company.

The eggs are fluffy, veggie sausage is so delicious, the avocado is fresh and the black beans are perfect. And.the.bread. Just get it!!
I got salt, pepper, ketchup and hots sauce and didn’t use one drop.

Our waitress was awesome. I'm just sad I don't remember her name 😔. Food was good. Just wished my omelette with chorizo had a bit more flavor but other than that everything was 👍👍. Would love to come back and try other dishes. Thanks for giving us a good time and adding to the experience we had this past weekend.

Covid safe environment. There is both indoor and outdoor dining available. There is also a designated dining area outside for patrons with pets. The coffee is good here. Everyone is very friendly and the food portions are BIG. We ordered the Huevos Rancheros with chorizo and the skillet with bacon mushrooms and avocado. The food was super tasty and make sure you get the cheddar biscuit if it’s an option.
