My husband and I always enjoy the good food, quick service, and upbeat energy of the staff. Good music too! All around, it's a hidden gem and our favorite breakfast place for the past 30 years. While there, we ran into our dear friend, Mr. Pat Duval, "The Singing Sheriff" whose personality and love of our community is ever present!

Perfect bacon and mushroom omelette. Soft and crumbly cheese biscuit. Professional wait staff. Lovely floral location in a beautifully landscaped cluster of chic shops. Thoroughly enjoyed my meal.

Went with my fiance and mom and the food was great! I had the triple D sampler. Every was amazing, but the gravy was a little sweet for me. I love super savory country gravy! I can't help it. My fiance had the huevos rancheros with a side of cheese curds and he loved both. It was one of his favorite stops during our visit. Staff was super friendly and attentive. Can't go wrong with a bloody mary with brunch either. The chili was SO GOOD.

Been trying to go here for a couple years and it just hasn't worked out. You have to try the Triple D Plate. This is when Guy from Diners, Drive-ins and Dives came by many years ago. It was $19.95 and worth every penny! The Brisket chile is awesome. Homemade biscuits with homemade sausage on top with gravy over it all. The Brisket chile came in a bowl and I put it over the eggs and it was great. It was a little too spicy for my wife but that was ok, there was more for me. Large portions so we split it and were both full. Service was quick and well done. Really enjoyed this place we will have to try something sweet next time like the cinnamon pancakes that looked awesome. P.S. they don't take reservations.

Great place to grab breakfast or a sandwich. From Scratch is generally open until 2pm (closed Wednesday I believe). There is usually a significant wait time to eat, at least it's been that way every time we've eaten there. The food portions are generous and very tasty. I had the From Scratch Skillet which includes baby red potatoes covered with cheese and topped with 2 eggs any style and comes with a choice of bread (I chose the biscuit). One can add three additional items from the Select Menu; I chose diced ham, bacon and mushrooms. I also love their gravy so I ordered a side of that to go with my biscuit. My wife ordered the Veggie Eggs Florentine and she loved it. Very good service from our waiter. Highly recommend a visit to From Scratch!

Headed here after reading some great reviews and it did not disappoint. Gerald was an excellent waiter and suggested as a wonderful combination for the breakfast burrito: chorizo sausage, black beans, avocado and sour cream. Came with a perfectly cooked and delicious side of homemade potatoes with cheese. Bloody Mary was a jalapeno vodka with homemade bloody Mary mix. Pretty good and easy to drink, but a little light for my tastes. Over the next few days, tried a few other selections including the scramble with generous toppings, the cinnamon French toast and a made to order omelet. All were amazing and it's hard to believe the consistent quality for a variety of menu options. Overall very nice and relaxing location with excellent staff and very tasty food. Would definitely visit again.

We came here once before about 7 years ago. The food & service was great. Our visit this time left us disappointed. Thankfully, there was zero wait, so we were seated immediately, but the service not good. It was over 10 mins before we were asked for our drink order. The wait for the food was okay. Not once did our server ask if we needed more water or refills. My husband tracked down another waiter for more water. The food was just okay..I ordered a BLTA. The tomato was cut way too thick. I asked for regular fries and that was not an option..

Excellent breakfast spot located in a beautiful shopping village surrounded by wonderful views of the mountains.
I got the extreme biscuits & gravy. It was solid, & I got it with bacon which was nice & thick.
We also got the chicken sandwich with sourdough, it was also very tasty.
I would consider coming back here.

Quick, friendly service. Love the biscuits and gravy- the sausage is amazing. One star off because the coffee wasn't very good and the tables are too tiny.
