Plenty of space, the pool area is a nice bonus. The outer part of the hot tub looks a bit sketchy, you can see the entire outside of the waterslides. Might be a bit picky, but I feel like it could have been presented better, and the outer area just looked like concrete slab that someone forgot to finish. Kinda odd, especially considering how nice the lobby feels. The game room was just all ticket games aside from a Jurassic Park Raw Thrills game. Gets boring really quickly.
The room itself felt much bigger because of the high vaulted ceilings. The beds, however, were very lumpy. There was a pullout couch that despite the outdoor motif, still managed to look a bit dirty. I wouldn't have pulled out the sofabed even if needed. Every room does have a balcony though. The staff was very friendly, and there's a decent little shop downstairs that serves basic Starbucks drinks.
We'd stay there again, the biggest thing they have going for them here is definitely the proximity to the town.
Beautiful lobby and rooms! The indoor and outdoor pool and hottub are great! There are even watersides for children/adults, 48in and taller. There's a small child area with a slide. They even provide their own balls and blow up pool toys for guests. The arcade was great, as well. There was continental breakfast, also. We will definitely return!
Was very disappointed in the overall experience. Room was... not able to use the patio because of weather not honestly wouldn't have anyway because it was covered in cigarette butts. The tables were sticky, the fridge needed some cleaning. The couch was... old (to put nicely). It was a last minute decision to stay as we were passing through or we may have gone elsewhere. It seemed the lobby was the nicest/best part. Only had a handful of handicap parking. Would not recommend.
Nice roomy accommodations, comfortable beds. The waterpark was larger than I expected and kept the kids happily occupied. Being mid-week it wasn't crowded in the least which likely helped. Having an indoor option makes the trip more weather-proof. The free breakfast was a bit limited (mostly mini doughnuts and make-your-own waffles) but the kids were happy with it and... it's vacation! Definitely will look to stay here again on our next trip to the area.
I was there for a birthday party and it was a great place for the kids, a bunch of 6/7 year olds and families enjoy themselves and the birthday girl have a birthday party shell remember.
Great place to stay, price was pretty reasonable. Staff was great to deal with. Easy access to get to and not far from downtown area. Pool and waterslide were great for the kids. Pool a d hot tub both go inside to outside. Rooms are clean and beds seem comfy. I would recommend staying here.
This was a good place to bring the kids. The multiple/outdoor pools was neat, but kind of hard to keep track of kids. Water slides were open for a little while, but was very limited because the hotel was under staffed. I cannot comment on the quality of the arcade because our kids were mostly interested in the pools. The coffee shop had friendly service and good Starbucks coffee. The breakfast was pretty standard hotel fare, nothing special. The hotel has a grand log cabin feel when you look at it and in the lobby area, the rooms however are pretty average. We had a room with a loft which worked perfect with our two families and the kids sleeping arrangements, and our kids loved the little balcony and fireplace. Room was clean when we arrived. We had a nice view of the beautiful fall colors in the Northwoods. Overall: this place could really be something special, but the rooms and the pool/"water park" area REALLY need some updating!!!

We live in the area and love being able to go to the water park for the day with our son. Such a great place to visit in winter!
