The bed was very comfortable & the hot tub was very nice! The carpets need to be cleaned & the restaurant needs a menu, other than appetizers & mainly pizza. The continental breakfast was lacking. But the over-all hotel environment was pleasant.
Nice place to bring the family! Rooms were clean, spacious. We had an adjoining room. My kids thought it was cool having a door separating us from their grandparents. I suppose the only thing I was disappointed in was the slides are meant for one person. My five year old couldn’t go on any of the slides because of her height, not that she would want to because there aren’t any tubes to sit on with another adult like other water park type hotels. The staff was really friendly too. The young lady that convinced me to go down the water slide (I’m afraid of heights, being in small, confined areas.) Took maybe 10 mins to give me a pep talk to talk me to go down it and not chicken out, but she was so sweet and kind. Thank you. Then the young man working the snack bar was super nice to us, patient with waiting for my kids to make up their minds on what they wanted for a snack. Continental breakfast was good! I’ve always enjoyed waffles like that whenever we stay in hotels! We will definitely come back!
Decent sized room, water park is nice. Arcade is large, a few games for adults, if interested. Conveniently located right off 51 and close to hwy 70. Wife and I stayed in October "off season". Restaurant and bar were closed so I can't comment in those. Overall a nice place, I do like the fact that you can either have a balcony or a patio right outside your room.
This was the most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept in. When I informed the front desk the next morning, she just looked at me and said "too soft?" I immediately said yes. Then she said nothing. The fact that she immediately asked if the bed was too soft tells me it must be a known issue. We have a sleep number bed at home, and the bed at the Waters was equivalent to maybe a 25 (out of 100, 100 being the most firm, for those of you that don't have a sleep number). If you like no support, you'll like their beds. If you like to sit on the edge of the bed and sink right down to the frame, you'll like their beds. If you like backaches that last for days after your stay, you'll like their beds. I even filled out the "How was your stay" survey, which allegedly goes to management, but I heard nothing in response. Oh, and the back of the TV was all spotted up. I've seen mildew before, and this looked like mildew. The front desk said it wasn't mildew. They said it was something that comes out of the TV. Um, ok. And the remote didn't work. And they have breakfast but no seating area. Have to take it back to your room. Not staying there again.
Great location! Not the best experience. (We had been here three years ago, and this experience was much different, all because of our room.) There are fun activities inside the hotel and in the surrounding area, however, it needs to said, our room STUNK. Like, everything we brought into the hotel for our 3 night stay left the hotel with a disgusting odor. The room looked nice, the beds were comfortable, and it appeared clean. It's possibly a result of the location, near the laundry area, it's just hard to ignore. Other than that, the staff was kind, our pre-teen loved the arcade and pool area, and The Pub had good food (impressive when you have a family including a salad eater and plain eaters and deep fried eaters). The hotel has a large area in the parking lot for boats and big trailers, which was nice as we brought the pontoon along. We had a very nice time in the area - jogging the trail system, boating, and using the water park and arcade - however "the stinky room" will forever be the name of this getaway.
We had a small issue with our first room. After discussing with the front desk, they were able to move rooms & upgraded due to our hassle. Customer service was great!! Very accommodating and helpful. The breakfast options are limited but that wasn’t a big deal for us. This water park is PERFECT for little kiddos. Our two and four year old loved it. The Pub food was delicious! We visit every year & it is one of our favorites!
Beautiful place! Pet friendly rooms on the main level with a patio door which was good for our older doggo. And a spacious pet area outside for potty and play time. Clean and very spacious rooms with comfy beds. The on side breakfast could of been bigger but the starbucks coffee made breakfast better. All around excellent place to stay! We will be back for sure!

Love this place, have stayed here 2 times now. Very quiet, clean, service is amazing and just an all outright nice place to stay. Thank you again. :)

A great example place to stay. The only disappointment is the hours of the bar. It’s perfect except the hours.
