I understand staffing issues so slide couldn't be open but then prices should be adjusted and the bar was closed on Easter Sunday. I get it is a holiday but having a big facility like that the place should be open. Snack bar inside pool area was closed the whole time we were there. Friday night we waited for front desk person to get a snack & another worker said she would be right with us and we waited over 5 mins as person was outside smoking.
The arcade was the worst I have ever seen. Quite a few games not working, some games took credits but didn't allow to play, air hockey had no air coming out of it, and 4 stuffed animal machines were completely empty!!! Room was nice & clean for the most part. Some cob webs by the curtains to patio door.
Stayed during the "off season" if you can call it that...plenty of snow for snowmobile riders staying. So the Pub wasn't open during our stay :(. Room was okay, a little out dated. Remodeling was going on all around us, so it was noisy all day long. It would have been nice to be given a heads up about the noise and mess. Waterpark was nice for smaller children (probably 12 and under). The staff in the waterpark was less than desired...didn't really WORK. They always looked mad...yes, all of them. The snack shop in the waterpark was also closed during our stay :(. Continental breakfast was nice, but nothing warm served really. Front desk service was great!
Upon checking in, we were given a key to an occupied room. Being socially awkward as I am, I simply left the door ajar and went back to the front desk. Sorry to the occupants of room 216 ;) Breakfast was very continental, the pool was OK, and the game room did not actually award tickets to redeem for prizes as advertised. The cleanliness of the facility was also so-so
If you wanna have fun and possibly contrapt a disease from the pools filled with miscellaneous items floating in them or the rooms with blood splatters in the shower that don't have heat, or the unmade rooms that you receive then this is the perfect place for you and your family!
Friendly staff, clean hotel, fun water slides and hot jacuzzi. Close to trails during snowmobile season. Rooms are a little outdated but everything worked. Nice little fridge in the room. They also have a little snack bar serving finger food and alcohol in the pool area. Plenty of tables for a big party. Changing rooms also have showers.
We were somewhat disappointed the sofa bed was broke told not to worry use it that way could not set on it after opening it would not go back in. Also was a shock when we got our bill for the food prices did notw match the board or interent and did not know it was going to costs 8$ to get food two take back to room that should be told orw posted somewhere we cold of come to restaurant.
Nice hotel. The water park is smaller than anticipated but nice. The rooms are nice but they need to get rid of the lighted light switches. Beds are super soft. Too soft for my liking but to each their own. Arcade is decent as well. Staff has been friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast is good as well.
We were there for a birthday party and the pool facilities were very over rated. A lot of people in the are hype this place up and it was no where near as good as they said it was.
Arrived before check-in time to use the pool. There were not many people the night we stayed, which was nice as there are only 2 water slides. The hot tub and pool both go outdoors, as well. There is a nice splash area for smaller kids. Overall the swimming area is great for a resort but wouldn’t consider it a waterpark. Good arcade and love the Starbucks and gift shop on site. Staff were very friendly and the rooms were spotless. The breakfast was okay. I wouldn’t consider it anything special. Nothing hot unless you made yourself a waffle. We got a good deal on the rooms for our stay. It was excellent for the $175 price we paid.
