1102 Bubble Tea & Coffee

The strawberry jasmine tea was delicious! It came with real strawberries and a lime on top. The seating was unique and interesting which my kids quite enjoyed. They also have normal seating as well. They also offer free wifi for their guests which is really convenient. I really enjoyed this place.

Well, my wife and I used to be regulars, but the quality has steadily gone down to the point where I couldn’t finish my drink. Mushy boba that no longer fits in the straw, and fake tasting flavors and lack of authentic tasting tea means that I won’t be coming back.

Addition: it really isn’t worth the price point, and you can expect to wait anywhere from 15 minutes to 45 minutes.

They have really nice tea, but they seem to be lacking in communication and service. I tried to order a matcha milk tea, with black tea. They gave me some blended matcha drink and I expressed when I was ordering I wanted it made with black tea and the employee said it did not come that way, so I thought they knew what they were talking about and gave up on trying to fix it. The time came for getting the drinks I had ordered and I told another employee that I did not want a blended drink and it was an error in communication. She asked if the other employee read it back to me, but I told her I didn't understand what they meant. She then said, "well they read it back to you so there is not much else we can do about it". I tried to get it fixed by expressing it was wrong, but nothing came of it. I was really unsatisfied with that quality of service.

Good tea. Weird experience late at night... Ordered a simple drink order and two of us waited 25 minutes (we were there only ones waiting) until we asked for it again. The two girls working seemed to be in a relationship and were suspicious, disappearing together into the back the entire time. Note to the manager...

The employees are nice but we've been waiting for 40 minutes so far and still haven't gotten our food.

Update: 50 minutes of waiting outside in our car with a beeper and my husband decided to go in to see if they forgot about us. They told him they forgot to put a beeper number on his ticket and were waiting for him to come back. That's pretty inconsiderate since I've seen an employee pop outside to gesture to customers that their order was ready.

The last time we came here it took about 30 minutes to get a boba tea. There are better places to go in Waco.

The place looks so nice, and the boba was so good. However, the price was really high. I paid almost $7 for a small boba.

This place is so cool! The owner is very nice. Our cashier took the time to explain the menu to us and gave us samples of the milk tea before bought our drinks. We went with Red Thai and Green Thai milk teas, which were delicious. Also- plenty of non-dairy options! Very cool atmosphere!!!

I visited this restaurant in early June, and I hadn’t fallen in love with my drink. Now, I’ve come back in August, and I definitely found a favorite. Coconut milk tea with a black tea base and boba is absolutely amazing. The boba has been fresh every time. The menu is also super full of items, so if you find something you don’t like, chances are there’s a drink combo out there that will better suit your taste buds. You just have to get out there and try some different drinks!!

Their boba teas are fantastic! Service is usually good too, though depending who's on shift, sometimes the hot coffees are served only half full. Sometimes the music is a bit loud, but not usually. Overall, great atmosphere, nice place to play games with friends or hang out.

Such a bad experience today. Very disappointed in the 1102 team tonight.
Our drink was not made right-missing toppings and boba.
When we brought this to the attention of the team we were told that they CANT remake the drink. They brought out a 1/2 cookie in a napkin and a small cup of boba so that we could put it in our drink.
Very disappointed in our experience in general especially when we were handed our separate add on's with a smug face by the attendant.
