Tracy was a huge help during our stay. We arrived late and I had forgot our tent stakes at home. She went out of her way to get some from her home and had them to us in 10 minutes.
My only negative comment on the place is the bathroom - it’s $2 for 6 minutes of shower time and there’s only one sink. In the mens room the sink only runs scalding hot water.

Very quiet camping in the darkest place in the US the stars are amazing. Be ready for no cell or internet service. You are in a beautiful mountain range.

We had a very wonderful time with these folks! ALL of the employees were so friendly and helpful too!! I hope they NEVER loose the cook they have at the restaurant, because EVERY meal we had there was awesome. Perfectly cooked food every time, especially the onion rings!! We loved our little room #13 across the street from main building. It gave us all the room and privacy that we enjoy. We'll be back for sure and we highly recommend this establishment and all they have to offer. Thanks for a great experience!!

Stayed here at the RV park and site has full hookups. Location is very convenient and close to Big Bend, grocery store, gas station, few restaurants, and a liquor store. Prices are a little inflated being in the middle of nowhere, but the RV site pricing I thought was pretty reasonable. I took one star off since I was given the wrong information when I called. I was told you could pitch a tent as long as you stayed within the boundaries of your RV area, but when we arrived you could only pitch a tent in a designated area. There is also no firepits, but found out you can bring your own. There are grills and picnic tables, but not at every RV site. We stayed Thanksgiving week and overall we had a great time and would come back.

Rundown, depressing RV park without any vegetation whatsoever. Staffed by a boomer hick with messed up teeth who's very protective of his gravel lot. Your Big Bend dreams will die here.

MY wife and I had a great time. We wanted no frills room in a great location that was clean and close to the places we wanted to visit. This was awesome and quiet. Comfy and small but we weren't there to be in a room 24/7. We came to unwind and enjoy the outdoors and if your coming here thats what you should be doing or your missing the whole experience . We'd definitely get a room here again. Thank you for the hospitality!

we booked 3 nights at room 46. the shower did not work, water flowed only from the low faucet. the front office did not fix it and they did not even showed that they care. the AC was noisy all night.
the location is great and the motel was fully booked. People will come anyway so why bother.

Wonderful place. Very accommodating! Great staff! We had church retreat there. Wonderful venue. Very close to Terlingua. Delicious catered meal as well by the chef at this Resort plus perfect location for group meal.

If you want to hike big bend and need a base camp. Big Bend Resort has been good for me and my hiking adventures.

This place is lovely. Sure, it’s no deluxe resort, but our room was clean, the water was hot and cold when needed, and the beds were comfortable. No mini-fridge or microwave, but there is a coffee maker, wi-fi, and functional TV. The motel gift shop has snacks and merchandise and very friendly folks at the front desk. The biggest plus is that it’s very convenient and has amazing views of the mountains. If you’re seeking luxury, look elsewhere, but if you’re looking for a clean, comfortable room in a cute motel, then this is the place for you.
