Have stayed twice at this location. Staff are friendly, and hotel has all amenities needed. We were hiking during the day and hanging out in hotel at night. Hotel has pool table, some board games, and WiFi in game room, just ask for password! Front desk staff was courteous and attentive. Rooms were clean, had some channels that were okay in room. Good view of mountains and landscape. Will be booking this in the future

Avocado toast had a sour taste, eggs were greasy and had burnt tasting spots as if the grill needed cleaning.

First you must remember that you are in the desert. That means grass is not part if the landscape. Other than that lots are good sized, the convenience store has most if what you would need, and the only gas station is right there. Biggest perk is you can't get any closer to the National Park without actually getting a reservation through the NPS.

There is the stable nextdoor that has sunrise and sunset rides as well as day rides. If you're traveling or meeting up with other that do not have a RV, they can stay at the motel.

If Resort means lots of activies there's plenty, but no pool.

The camping area is of a good size and there are picnic tables and grills. There are also two shower and restroom areas. The location is beautiful and the game room with WiFi, the gas station and cafe is convenient. However, they do need more maintenance when it comes to keeping their small number of toilets in working order.

I went to check in...keep in mind I called 2 days prior to check if they had laundry facilities, showers, and grills (the perfect time to tell me the responses given at check in) and was told they had all 3. I check in and find out you have to pay $2.50 for a 6minute shower, the water table was so low they didnt open the laundry facilities, and there was a a fire ban so you cant have a fire. Also it advertises wifi on the website but the manager wont let you connect and said it's more like hotspot. If you see I'm from very far away you should probably warn me! The sites are all pull thru which was nice and everyone was pretty nice.otherwise.

This "resort" is the worst lodging we have ever stayed in; DO NOT SYAY HERE. Unless you are OK with filthy floors, the carpet had stones on it and bathroom floor had bugs and dirt. The shower did not look like it had been cleaned the shower curtain was white but had turned yellow and orange from deposits. There was one small trash can for entire room and bathroom. The towels were worn and many looked like rags with ragged edges. The bed was hard the blanket had multiple holes!?! There is absolutely no housekeeping and the rate was $134 per nite!! To top it off we made our reservation through national park reservations. Buyer beware!

Great cabins - always an easy place to stay and is next to a small store with breakfast and a gas station which is a bonus. Showers are short (in height) but the water is hot so no complaints!

Large campground, pay per shower, full hookups and some pull through sites avail. Laundry mat available. No campfire rings but each site has a grill. Cell signal (I have Verizon). Close to big bend park entrance and several restaurants. Stayed here a week and it was quiet. Lots of full timers in the winter stay here and in big bend area in general.

Hot water Luke warm at best, toilet didn’t flush or continually ran unless you had back off and helped it seal each time or pulled chain to flush, Appears room/bedding/TV heaters etc. not updated in last 20-30 yrs (maybe over exaggeration but box TV, noiseY heaters and only one plug place between to beds for phones) yet cost is not hugely different from newer properties near by.
Office not attended today after 2200.

Beds were comfortable, room clean and dry. Ok place in a pinch but otherwise I’d try to secure other logging fir the cost.

We only visited the tourist trap part and the gifts were fine. Masks are required in the shop and the a/c was not sufficient. It was difficult to breathe because of the heat inside. It didn't help that the woman took forever to ring up the ticket. She was very friendly though.
