Great food for a great price. The perfect neighborhood breakfast spot.

Awesome breakfast place! We ordered four of their specials and they all were amazing! The people there were so nice and they even brought a toy for our crying toddler to play with until the food was there. Also the pancakes are really good!

Super nice and friendly staff, the atmosphere is great, and the food is delicious. Their scrambled eggs were cooked perfectly, my favorite item was their breakfast tacos. Some of the best ones I've tasted.

Had lunch with a friend. We both got the quiche of the day. It was amazing. I'm never disappointed with Cafe' Lago, the food is always excellent.

We are out of towners, but third time at Lakeway Resort. Food is great at Lago, however, service is oddly not commensurate. Waitresses have always been rude, curt, and seem to be constantly rushing. It’s a small restaurant so it doesn’t make sense that they’re always “rushing”. The service does not seem to line up with the rest of Austin’s hospitality.

Great food in a hometown atmosphere

Love this cafe. They always make you feel like family and not to mention they serve breakfast until 1:30pm cst. Gluten free bread ya'll!!

There are hits and misses. This was a total miss. We waited 30 minutes to get water and menus. The tables were not bussed for the entire time we sat there. Waitress took our order and delivered wrong food, another long wait. And finally my eggs were delivered undercooked after all that. Poor waitress was running and bringing wrong food to surrounding tables too.

Fantastic menu! We had a wonderful breakfast this morning and plan to return tomorrow before going home to Ft Worth. I just have to have the California Eggs benidict which is only served on Saturday before leaving.

If you're hungry when you get there, you won't be when you leave. This was my first visit. I had the Potato Head. Fresh vegetables slightly grilled with two eggs over easy and a side of fresh salsa. Potatoes, onion, bell pepper, mushroom, tomatoes and broccoli. Broccoli for breakfast. I feel healthy. But the surprise for me, the rosemary bread. Buttered in the kitchen. That was an option offered and I took it. And dog friendly on the patio!!! Thumbs up Cafe Lago.
