One of the best breakfast selections in Lakeway.

Staff was great

I used to go at least once every two weeks but last week the service was horrible. The service was rude we were waiting almost 30 min for service and the waiters had a terrible attitude.

Last time getting lunch in this place.

Love this little place. Don’t come here if you’re in a rush. The hostess busted butt to get everyone taken care of. But it’s a little place and come to just relax and enjoy your breakfast!

Excellent food, service and atmosphere. The location is ideal for Lakeway residents. It is my favorite restaurant!!

I have been going to this cafe with my family since I was a kid.
Family owned and operated, the staff has always been very friendly to my family and I for years. The food is consistently great and the hot chocolate is darn irresistible. If you're looking for a great breakfast spot, go to Cafe Lago.

Awesome service!! Super food !!

My friend and I drove almost an hour to have breakfast at this establishment. We were warmly welcomed and asked to sit ourselves. Nothing out the ordinary, we chose to sit outside on the patio.Greeted warmly by the waitress, we ordered our food, she brings it out, no problem. It’s important to note we are the only black customers. We do not feel at all out of place.
Once our food came out, my friend requests some salsa for her omelette. That must have triggered the waitress because we are yet to fathom what else it could have possibly been. She put her hands on her hips and breathed out heavily, visibly annoyed. I immediately told my friend that she was possiblybusy and overwhelmed and for her not to take it personally. With my order, I got a smoothie. I realized that I would not be able to finish my smoothie and asked for a to go cup. Again she expressed annoyance at the request with her body language. She threw her hand up in the air and said I’ll bring you a to go cup you can pour it in the yourself. If management pulls up the camera, they will see. We remained calm, thanked her, even chuckled about it, and kept on with trying to enjoy our meal and our trip to Austin. Since I barley ate my food, not because I was upset with how we were being treated by this person. I requested a to go box. She could barely contain herself with anger. We paid, thanked her again with out most dazzling smile and left her a huge tip.

We are really nice kind hearted girls, our requests were not unreasonable, any guesses on why we were treated like this? I’m calling management in morning but I think I know what to expect.

Food was great. Atmosphere was great. I wish they were able to accommodate our party, but I guess trying to get a table on a Sunday with 12 people is unreasonable. However, brunch was amazing!

Visiting Lake Travis for a weekend and found this place with a quick google search. It’s the only breakfast place around so why not try it out. Girls were friendly, food was good, but I wish we would have checked our food before we left. There was no toast in any of our plates - that we paid for by the way. So that was disappointing but again it was good.
