My husband and I were staying at the Lakeway hotel and happened upon Cafe Lago. The food is EXCELLENT, and it’s the perfect little relaxed cafe atmosphere you would look for on vacation. We liked it so much we came back every day, Everything we had was amazing!! Wish we had this in our town, you won’t be disappointed!

They have 50% of their staff working-why do they have all tables inside & outside available with not proper staffing? They don’t care ! For a small breakfast it took 2 hours-food was horrible & cold!!!

We have been eating here since we moved in five years ago. The food is good but the average wait for breakfast is an hour at least. Today we waited 90 min before being served our food. We can no longer patronize this restaurant because of the miserable service

The service is great. Waitresses are very kind and courteous. They swing by the table often to top off your coffee, a long forgotten habit by most waiters/waitresses today.
I LOVE "Jakes Eggs"! I wake up in the morning thinking about them.

Really want to love this place as it’s right down the road from our house...but, the service is just so so bad. It’s not for lack of trying, been here 6-8 times and it’s JUST never changes. Actually had to get up and leave last time after no service for over 20 minutes.....and still came back this morning- same brutal service. On a positive note the food is pretty good, they just really don’t seem to care about their service one bit - And it shows.

Jakes plate--eggs, mushrooms, green onions, sour cream, cheddar cheese - is very filling. Had the fruit and rosemary sourdough on the side. The Rosemary sourdough toast was delicious too. Nice brunch spot if you're in the area
