Cafe Lago

I didn't waiting almost 40 minutes to get a table and almost 30 minutes to get the food......this time customer service was not good at all......everybody got water except me and my wife.....they gave us the food in a rush way that they didn't say enjoy your food and they gave us the receipt in a rough way.....the food was good btw just customer service

Ordered two breakfast tacos - a bacon and a ham. Also got a Texas burrito. Egg cooked well but that was about it... Nothing special. The tortilla tasted like it is store bought. Super busy on a Sunday. Waited for 30 minutes. Somewhat high price point for breakfast tacos & burrito

How this place has 4.4 stars boggles me.

Very sub par. Was excited to try it out since it is less than a mile from my house, but we won't be returning. The chef needs to take a class or something. Learn how to season the food. Go to Austin and try their hashbrowns to taste what hashbrowns should taste like. I had the eggs Benedict and the hollandaise sauce was terrible. I could go on YouTube and learn how to make a better sauce than that. The waitress was rude and impatient. (Older white woman). The pancake was good, Ill give them that. But it came out 15 minutes before our meal and we didn't order it like an appetizer, it was supposed to be part of the main course.

Also, we werent the only ones unimpressed. An upscale gentleman sitting next to us got up and left and hadn't hardly touched his food at all.

Overall this place needs alot of help in regards of hiring a better cook and better service. Take a cooking class or something.

Today my family and I went to go have breakfast. They had a full house and we are in the service industry and understand how busy they were so we didn't mind too much about waiting 15 minutes to get our server to greet us. It wasn't until a table came in 10 minutes after us, and the server proceeded to greet them before ever coming to our table that I got annoyed. Not sure if it was because we looked young or because we were the only people of color in the establishment, but whatever the prejudice, we left as the server got their order still before greeting us. I also want to mention that at NO point during our visit there did our server even touch our table.

Such a cute cafe! Artists rent out the wall space as a gallery to sell their artwork. I had the California Benedict and it was really good!! I was impressed! My husband had a chai tea and it was delicious!!! I also liked that they had pineapple juice. We are traveling but felt at home here! The price was not bad. We had two plates and two drinks for under 30 bucks. The only negative thing I have to say is the home style fries. They had a good texture but the seasoning was missing an element for my personal taste. But the service was real personable and friendly. We would go there again if we were area again. We recommend this restaurant hands down!

Great Breakfast and Friendly Service

Terrible. Didn’t even get to eat due the extreme disrespect of staff. The little boy hosting never said more than 1-2 word sentences. The middle aged woman was incredibly disrespectful and treated my family like a problem for wondering why they seated two large parties after my party of 4 adults and two kids. Definitely will never try this place again.

Lovely little Cafe that caters to breakfast and brunch diners only. They close early afternoon. Food was very good and priced right. They have some bakery items for sale and I bought a few of those which were very good. Go and enjoy! 👍

Love Cafe Lago! Great breakfast and coffee and wonderful lunch option. We go here almost once a week and love it.
