Sola Coffee Cafe

I didn't have any food so my feedback is zero in that area. Met a colleague there for a quick drink but looking forward to returning for the full dining experience. Atmosphere is great!

Sola Coffee Cafe is probably one of my favorite spots in Raleigh, sadly it is on the complete opposite side of town to be so I don't get to come up as much as I like.

The place is usually pretty busy, probably because it's good, and the atmosphere is always open and fresh. There are lots of plants, big windows, and space with a good bar. They have lots of outside seating for the summer months and various table sizes to accommodate all groups.

You can also book out the place for private events, as I learned the last time I was there.

They have a variety of pastries that change out based on when you go, and some other options that are around all the time such as the mini donuts. They make fantastic coffee and have an amazing selection of teas! You can buy their coffee and tea options if you want some too take home at well.

Overall an amazing place and fantastic to just sit and read a book or work.

Staff eggwich is the bomb! The espresso donuts are delicious! My husband and I love coming here before we treat patients for our morning coffee fix!

I find it very odd that they don’t provide Wi-Fi to paying customers until 1 PM. Most people want to grab a coffee and work and then will stick around until noon to get lunch at the same location. It’s inconvenient for those of us who want coffee + reliable Wi-Fi, so unfortunately I won’t be coming back. Also, their Wi-Fi kept turning off and on during my time there. The perks are the coffee was good and the outdoor patio is spacious and dog-friendly with plenty of parking options.

Great coffee smoothies and amazing food!! Usually the place is packed - for good reason - but if you find them open during the week it's a great place to work as there is lots of tables and chairs to spread out. Private room available for conferences in the back or meetings with more than three people. Not a bad coffee shop if it were less judgmental. Staff could be nicer - they were super uptight about not letting me put almonds in my smoothie because it wasn't "common practice" and the woman wouldn't give me her name. Almost borderline rude... But I know the general staff and ownership and they are usually VERY amicable so I take this as an outlier and only gave it 5 stars because it's a little too hipster for my tastes but I'm ok with that. . .

Very good coffee shop! Looks like an old bank converted into this cute little hipster looking café. There was a line but the staff were friendly and moved the line quickly. Food was excellent and I'd definitely recommend and go back again. This is probably a place I'd patron regularly if I were a local.

One of the best spots to catch up with a friend over coffee. They offer sweet treats and healthy options, depending on your mood. Always delicious food and coffee drinks. Wonderful staff. Cool, local gifts available. Awesome "I believe in Raleigh" mural, and expansive outdoor seating available.

What a great coffee shop! Came here for a late night treat and the customer service was fantastic. The brownies and birthday cake donuts are so delicious. They have outside seating and also serve beer and wine! We will for sure be back!

An absolutely amazing experience for me and my family! Even with a line out the door we were taken care of almost instantly. Took about 10 minutes for us to receive everything we ordered including coffee, items from the bakery case, and made to order items like their DELICIOUS mini donuts. Friendly staff, great service, clean and nice atmosphere. Do yourself a favor and try it out!

Why not believe in Raleigh - and good coffee? Sola has been a mainstay in my life since moving to the area in 2014. Cool atmosphere and great outdoor space make this the perfect place to get away and have a cup of your favorite beverage. The food menu has options for everyone.

I’ve never been here and not run into someone I know- it’s like a meet up every time.
So fun.
