Such a great place to come sit and do work in! It’s cozy, and there a few different styles of solo, small group, and large group seating. They have printing available and great little cookies / drop cookies. Coffee was good. Great menu variety for drinks and food. Coffee accompaniments were sugar, simply syrup, and Splenda. First time visiting. Will be back!

Ps: cafe closes at 3:30 so the kitchen closes at 3 PM.

Great coffee!! So much better than Starbucks or Dunkin. Do yourself a favor and go here instead! The only reliably good coffee I have been able to find around this area. Love the atmosphere and the employees are always so friendly. A great place to read a book and sip some coffee. The food is great too, especially the vanilla parfait and the southwest black bean pasta salad!

We were on Glenwood doing some furniture shopping and were desperate for coffee. So I searched the area to see what was available with excellent reviews and this place popped up.

We arrived at New World Cafe about 5 mins before closing and the young lady was so nice and answered all our questions with enthusiasm. She chatted with us while she was making our drinks and really made us feel welcomed, even though we were the only customers there and arrived right at closing, which would annoy most. We even learned she was from South Africa.

We ordered a 24 oz. Iced Heath Mocha with oat milk and a 24 oz. iced Caramel Latte. That Heath Mocha was the best mocha I've ever had and that's saying a lot since I order them nearly every coffee shop we visit! I love toffee and anything made with toffee, so it was a no brainer for me to order the Heath mocha - combining two of my favorite things. My husband said his caramel latte was excellent as well. The roast was great, which was expected since they use Counter Culture coffee (roaster from Durham). I felt the price was worth it given the quality and size drink.

We'll definitely return if we're back in the area again. I'll have to try their cold brew next time since I loved the setup they had showing it being made (Kyoto style).

We live in Durham and have excellent coffee shops and local roasts, so we're fortunate to get great tasting coffee regularly. We've had the highest quality coffees in Kona and San Francisco (and have their roasted beans shipped to us regularly), so we're a bit of coffee snobs. Some people like fine wines, we love great coffee. Whenever we're in another city, we love to visit a local coffee shop to support small business and hopefully get a good brew. We're glad to have found a great espresso drink at New World Cafe and highly recommend it for other coffee snobs like us (or those who just like a good brew) :-)

Wow how cute is this little coffee shop!! Super excited because it’s a min away from my house. This café is situated in a shopping center but it is located behind subway. You might have trouble finding it at first, but totally worth it. They have so many breakfast options like bagels with a variety of options/toppings, as well as açaí bowls! It’s super cute inside and they staff are very friendly. Latte with sugar free vanilla was perfect. Muffin was good! Will definitely be back many more times!!😀

Ordered a sausage egg and cheese on a croissant with tomato and maple bacon spread. Was pretty tasty. Place wasn’t anything exceptional but was a good place to work out of for a couple hours.

First visit today and would definitely go more often if we lived a bit closer. Food was very good with surprisingly large portion sizes. However, it was the coffee that really surprised me; it's truly excellent, they really know what they are doing when it comes to coffee.

I've been coming to this Cafe since 2004. It's changed owners since then, but still remains a wonderful addition to our little community up here in North West Raleigh. The drinks are well made, the food is delicious (and served as large portions!), and they have tasty homemade bakery items. It's quiet, the vibe is easy going, and it has a good amount of natural sunlight to help brighten your day.
My only complaint is that they close at 3:30. Like many people who visit here, I work remotely. I do not like leaving this wonderful, peaceful place just before the work day is over to go to Panera or Starbucks for an hour. Please, please consider closing at 5.

The environment is fine to do some work. The outlets could be better - some are pretty crusty/loose (potential electrical hazard?). I noticed the coffee quality isn’t as consistent as I would like for a local shop. I have ordered americano, cappuccino, and a vanilla latte here, and unfortunately I have not been impressed. The flavors don’t capture the richness of the coffee, and the flavor is off! I also think it’s odd that the Black & White coffee beans are sold here (that is what I often use at home) but the taste of the drinks don’t match up - do they use different beans from the ones they sell? Other than my disappointment in the coffee, the baristas have always been polite and friendly, and I like that the shop has its own crowd of regulars that I’ve begun to recognize. The community is small, but it is comforting.

Excellent flat white and açaí bowl. Tastes fresh, not too sweet, just right.

Yum!! The coffee was amazing and the seating was quite comfortable. Wifi was lightning fast. The only reason I did not give it five stars is due to them closing so early in the day. Would have been a great place to finish the working day when working remote. Will be back for the yummy coffee, though.
