North Carolina Wine Cheese and Chocolate

Volunteered my personal time to assist with this event. I walked into the informational meeting on Friday and not one person spoke or even tried to assist me. A woman was speaking to about 3 other people and one lady organizing the backpacks even looked right at me as I got off the elevator and again, didn't even acknowledge me even sharing the same air. I drove over 30 minutes to attend and was really looking forward to assisting. This made me read the room really quickly walk back to my car. Volunteering is something I love, even when it is hard work involved. However, if I am not even worth a hello or a wave or something to direct me to the right place...I believe it is time not worth donating. 2 starts b/c it seems they did put a lot of effort into it trying to make it a success.
