Uglie Mugs Coffee House

Had a Heath bar espresso which was delicious and my son had a hurricane (strawberry) smoothie - also delicious. This is also a bead shop and they have a cool setup if you’re into making jewelry with beads. The girls working there were also super friendly!

Great beverage menu. Drinks are prepared well and taste delicious. This shop has ugly face mugs that you can buy. They’re so cute and original. They also have a nice selection of homemade jewelry and have something going on in the back space that appeared to be where you can make your own jewelry with pieces purchased there. Call them to be sure.

They talk badly about the customers. They don't like tourists. I overheard them saying some very nasty things about me and the other customers when they thought I left. We always drove out of our way to get coffee here and we always spend a lot of money. We always leave a huge tip. But they act as if you're just an inconvenience and treat the customers like garbage. After I heard them talking about how they really feel about the customers I wont be going back.

I really wanted to like this place because it's unique. But the latte tasted just like water. I thought maybe if I swirl it up, I'd taste more coffee. No such luck.

Walked in and neither me or my husband were greeted. Swiftly walked back out, all stares, no smiles which means no money from us! Hopefully others have a better experience.

I liked the water color artwork prints for sale! The shop has a bead works area for making bracelets. The coffee bar and sweets had a variety.

The Mugs have gone up in price and down in size. The specialy coffee drinks NEVER taste the same and the Latte's are scorched EVERY TIME. No one should have to wait 30 minutes after receiving their coffee to take the first drink.
We make the stop every year hoping for a different outcome. We won't make the stop next year.
For anyone who has not been to this establishment the ORIGINAL ugly mugs are worth taking a peek at. Sadly they are not for sale. The imitation sea glass that is sold in jewelry form is a sad representation of what can and is found on the shores of AVON daily.

Come for the coffee, stay for the art. A great little spot to get tasty coffee drinks (so many choices), a small but delicious pastry selection, and a great local artists displays.

My wife got an excellent coffee, and a cookie for the kids, but no gluten free options here

We stop every visit at least once. Love the coffee and the staff is always amazing. No photos because I always finish my drink too soon.
