Uglie Mugs Coffee House

I went to Uglie Mugs two days in a row, the first day, the employee barely spoke to me and didn’t even look up to take my order. I went back a second day, thinking it would be better but no, it was even worse. The two employees were extremely rude. I placed my order of a Caramel Macchiato and the male employee groaned and rolled his eyes at me? I rarely think to write bad reviews but the fact that I had bad service with multiple different employees two days in a row??Do NOT go here.

Excellent refreshments after a long drive from Maryland. Open past 14:00 despite what google says. Young son got a great chocolate milk shake. Two fruit smoothies were delicious. Great friendly service.

Good except cramped inside if you are looking for a place to chill a while in Avon.

Great coffee and very fun atmosphere!

Was enjoying the shop, had many different types of beads, until the worker accused my sister and girlfriend of stealing after only being in there for 10 minutes. Quote unquote “you’ve been standing to long, unfill your pockets”. Was very rude and did not apologize. Lost a sale and will never come back again.

S'mores latte was ok, not great, not bad, just ok.
The bagel was a bagel...
But the deviled food cake muffin was delicious!
The girl working, I think the owner? She wasn't super friendly. Thought maybe it was just us but another couple came in right after and they said "hey how are you" and she was like "what can I get you"... mugs were super over priced also.

I really needed a computer while I was on vacation at the Outer Banks to complete some online training for my work and luckily I stumbled upon this coffee shop. They have a computer available to anyone who comes in free of charge and a printer as well if you need to print anything (they do for prints). I bought a cup of white chocolate lavender latte and a chocolate muffin it was absolutely delicious! Thanks Uglie Mugs!

First time stopping at the Uglie Mugs Coffee Shop since they had great reviews online!
The store is cute and has a lot of character with the artwork/funky mugs plus the drink menu has a nice selection.
However, the prices/food case/service was horrible.
The baristas had a friend in the back of the store talking to them the whole time and they kept getting distracted and stop making drinks to talk to their friend which caused a line to go out the door. Midway through waiting to order one of the barista started counting his tips out of the tip jar (assuming he was done with his shift) so there was only one girl making drinks.
There were a weak selection of baked goods and most of them looked old and there were flies in the case.
I ordered a large iced tea and a small mocha but was told there were no lids for large cups so I changed the iced tea to a small and it was almost $10 for both drinks - seems high for two 12oz drinks.
This is our first and last time ever coming here.

Should have gone to the gas station for coffee instead of this place. Burnt, unflavored coffee...bored, unattentive and rude attitude barista...mediocre blueberry muffin reminded me of shampoo. Not worth the wait because it takes them a good 10 minutes to make 3 coffees

First time stopping at this cute shop, and boy, it did NOT disappoint! Love the pottery and jewelry 😍 and let’s talk about the coffee for a sec.... I am an avid Starbucks goer - and this coffee is hands down so much better! If you’re in the area and looking for a gem, look no further!
