We like this place for a good cup of coffee. They also have a dark organic coffee we purchase by the pound. The pastries were just ok though.

So much more than just a coffee shop. Local artisans have their handiwork displayed. Reasonable prices.

Great coffee! Great muffins! Do not recommend going in the morning, whoever opens is always bored, unattentive and has a rude attitude... Fun bead making for afternoon activities though! Kinda a long wait for the assistance on the making of jewelry.

Parking, like most places down here, is a pothole nightmare. Parking lot is tight, but manageable.

We stopped here one evening spur of the moment to get some breakfast goodies for the next day. Excellent muffins and cinnamon rolls! We had the Devil's Food, Chocolate-Pistachio, and Orange-Cranberry muffins. They were all delicious! It's a very quaint, comfortable little shop with friendly service. We will be back to try some coffee. :)

Drinks were decent. I wasn't clear on the menu for a lot of stuff. I wanted a frozen coffee drink but couldn't see that offered on the menu, and I still don't know if the one I ordered had coffee in it or not. Several young kids working the counter were slower than molasses. One of them was black fingernails couldn't I get off his phone long enough to make a drink. He carried his phone in one hand and tried to make a drink with the other but it wasn't working. After we showed up about 20 other people did as well. They all seemed pretty frustrated as it took about 10 minutes to make our four frozen drinks. The inside got rather crowded for my liking right now.

2 stars...but only because the coffee was good. But I’m totally grossed out after seeing the “bug motel” trap in the baked goods case which I hadn’t noticed the day before when I ordered a muffin from there. Just gross and that has to be a health code violation!
Also the employees were fighting in front of customers due to the line.
Definitely won’t be back.

This is a mandatory stop for us as we day-trip down 12 between Duck and Ocracoke. It's a small shop but the coffee has always been good, the staff friendly and I enjoy browsing thru (and usually end up buying) from their vast selection of beads and unique local art.
