Uglie Mugs Coffee House

A neat little eclectic coffee shop. The art was fun inside. We didn’t care for the coffee and ran on the bitter side for us. The baristas maybe were having an off day but they just didn’t seem like they wanted to be there.

Loved this place! We happened to stop in on the way back from Hatteras to Nags Head and we loved it! The staff was super nice and happy to make a custom smoothie for me and the bagel and mocha were also really great. Cool decor and lots of fun stuff for sale from local artists.

Two girls behind the counter had the personality of a pea. Bought two coffees cookies and muffins. They never greeted us and never thank us. Good was good coffee was like warm and bitter.

My family and I got coffees here. Excellent taste! I recommend the S'Mores coffee, it's delicious! Friendly service too! The owner is very engaging and friendly.

Absolutely one of the best places to get coffee! Their mochas are the best. Great atmosphere with little trinkets to buy. Their mugs are very unique and funny.

Bakery goods were fresh and tasty.
Coffee was above average; their espresso specials were the clear winner though.

Cute, low-key coffee shop. There is a great selection of coffee flavors, and your typical selection of coffees and tea, both iced and hot. Nondairy milk options are available for a 75 cent upcharge. Smoothies are made with some frozen fruits and some syrups, depending on the flavor.

Best white chocolate mocha with blueberry flavoring. Love this place and all the art and knick knacks. The staff is wonderful to chat with and support helpful.

Great coffee spot on the island! Not just clever named coffees and smoothies, but great pastries and scones, breakfast items, and pottery pieces (mugs and other things) available for your browsing/purchasing pleasure!
