Best little place. My daughter enjoyed making necklaces. It is a normal spot for us on vacation. They have a good variety of bakery foods and coffee drinks. Smoothies and protein drinks are available too. Prices are reasonable.

Great local coffee shop! Our barista was efficient and very pleasant!!! With a full shop of people waiting, you would never tell she was under pressure! We will always return here 😋

Uglies Mugs is the best coffee shop in all of Avon NC. The coffee is delicious and the drinks they make are fantastic. The selection of muffins is perfect for breakfast. Visited for the first time today. Walking in I was greeted with the heavenly scents of cinnamon and coffee. I ordered coffee and breakfast pastries. My husband declared his chocolate banana muffin as the best muffin he has ever had. My cinnamon roll was equally delicious. We will definitely be stopping in again the next time we visit Avon. Thank you for a lovely start to the morning!

Super fun, eclectic local place. Good coffee, and a small selection of pastries. They had a sign in the bakery case for a couple of gluten free pastry products but I couldn’t tell if they were actually in stock and I did not inquire. They do have multiple milk substitutes/alternatives.
They also sell art, mugs, and they have a beading room in the back where you can come and make your own jewelry. A little bit of everything. Barista was very friendly when we stopped in for an iced coffee on the way out of town.

Ordered an Italian soda (raspberry) as I was passing through Avon returning to beach house rental in Salvo. It was so good that I returned the following day for a strawberry cheesecake (whipped up by the amazing human) one. Such a cool place with even better individuals working there. I don’t know the two individuals personally but sometimes you just know that people are good by their energy. The entire place is good energy powered by good people (and Italian sodas). If you are in the Hatteras area, please support this business and more important these AMAZING individuals.
