Uglie Mugs Coffee House

Was having a good time looking for beads with my brother and his girlfriend intill the owner came over accused us of stealing and said quote on quote "your taking to long and making me nervous, stand up and unfill your pockets". We weren't even in there for more than 10 minutes and i literally had a bag full of beads in my hand getting ready to pay. I imagine people looking for beads and making bracelets won't be in there for less than 10 minutes lol, its obviously gonna take longer than that. Wish I could give them a zero star, never coming back again.

Great Ofer drinks and pastries... but it has to be the slowest service in OBX. They need to learn from the chains in terms of efficiencies of service. The need an electronic ordering system. They had people give up and leave while we waited an hour plus.

Wonderful! Great lil shop for jewelry n gifts and loose tea to go for yourself or gifts. The apple ugly and dirty chai(chai tea with espresso) are the best!!!

Carmel machinos were filled to the rim therefore making a total mess.
The milk was not heated therefore you are drinking a Luke warm coffee.
Will never visit there again.

Stopped here for breakfast when driving through Avon. When waiting for my coffee , they had music playing that was really loud with songs that had swearing which was odd for a coffee shop and I heard the customer in front of me who had a little girl with them ask the baristas to turn it down since it was so loud and inappropriate. Ended up not getting food and went to another cafe for breakfast.

Love the coffee and sweets. The girls are all so nice. We always stop in at least a few times when we come down.
Thanks ladies! We always miss you when we have to go home

Best coffee shop. The white choc. and hazelnut iced coffee is my favorite.

uglie Mugs has updated it's business management and also updated their ordering process with a new updated to the 21st century POS system..allowing for shorter wait times and better service ! coffee and food are as always excellent and new staff is always smiling and working together to make your experience at ugly mugs a great one you will not forget.. New art is flooding the shop constantly, and the atmosphere Is just cozy and comfortable..

Great coffee shop in Avon. Have been getting my morning coffee here most days of every trip to Avon for years.
