I have never stood in line half an hour before a restaurant opened. When it did open, more than thirty hopefuls lined the side of the building. Was it worth it? Best vegan food I have ever been served! A culinary adventure of the highest order. It is worth the wait.

From start to finish the food was excellent. We tried one of all of the small plates and they were divine. Particularly the beets and cauliflower. My mole was delicious and my friends all thoroughly enjoyed their tempeh dish. One of the best vegan meals I have ever eaten and one of the best restaurants in Asheville.

The ambiance here is wonderful and the food is so creative! We especially enjoyed our desserts — saffron crepe brûlée and peanut butter cheesecake.

Best vegan food I've ever had, including the Green Chile Collins I had to drink. Service was phenomenal. Literally nothing bad to say about this place. Just be sure to make a reservation.

Amazing food. I want to come back to Asheville just to come to Plant again.

The atmosphere was set so wonderfully. We sat at the bar and had a truly wonderful meal. I cannot even begin to describe how delicious it was.

Two points for others who haven’t been before. (Not a bad thing, but just to be aware of):
I was never able to get them on the phone to make a reservation.

There was a wait to get in the door… and we arrived 15 minutes before it opened on a Saturday night. So people really love this place and are knocking down the door to get in.

I can’t wait to return and try more of what Plant offers.

I cannot recommend it enough. This is one of the best restaurants in the region. Interesting food. Interesting people. Great vibe. Alison is an amazing server- great recommendations.

Wow. The food was incredible. The ambiance was warm and inviting while still being a modern space. The vegan charcuterie board was amazing. Our waitress Colleen was super nice and very attentive. I only wish I lived locally so I could visit more.

Went here while passing through Asheville and everything was amazing. We had the cheese plate, the mushroom ravioli, the crème brûlée, local beer and the creme sherry. Well worth it! The place was packed and we were only able to be sat right away because there were 2 seats left at the bar. Told my sister it's time for them to expand if you can't get a table without a reservation on a Wednesday.

Excellent all around! From the vegan cheese platter to the ravioli to the creme brulee, all worth the trip. We'll be back for sure.

I’m literally writing from the parking lot as I leave. This food was absolutely incredible, honestly one of the best meals I’ve ever had. I would’ve thought I was eating at the Ritz.

Went with my omni husband, and I’ve been vegan for 12 years and we were both obsessed. The portions were generous, and the favors were amazing. If you’re a vegan in Asheville this has got to be on your “must-do” list.
